Renjun was the sweetest, most perfect person you'd ever meet in your life. He said thank you even if he didn't have to, gave homeless people every last cent he had even if he needed it, held the door open for everyone, bought lunch for his best friends and family; he was simply.... perfect.

You'd never think his parents owned the biggest illegal underground business known to Chicago. But they did, and they hid it well. Too well. They had tons of people in their business, wether they knew it or not. They had been running it for years and had never even been suspected. They only did so well because they acted like a stuck up rich family that lived in the richest part of town.

Renjun didn't even know about it. All he knew was that they owned a huge business that made bank. They always had home-cooked meals together, did family activities together, went on vacations together. Just like a normal family.

Renjun had an older brother and an older sister; Lia and Oliver. They were both aware of the business that their parents had. They had realized the sketchy things as they got older and when they found out, they wanted in, which is exactly what they got. So now Renjun was the only one that didn't know. But they didn't plan on ever telling him. He was the family favorite. They claimed there wasn't a favorite but of course, like in every family, there was one. They had always planned on telling Lia and Oliver when they got to a certain age but they ended up finding out before then. But they intended on keeping Renjun safe and completely out of the whole thing. It could get very dangerous, especially when they delivered to sketchy gang members or ex-convicts which happened often.

Long story short, they kept Renjun out of it 100% and never planned otherwise.

"Renjun!" His mom yelled up the stairs. "Your brother's leaving early, are you getting a ride with him?"

. . .

"Renjun?"

She looked at Oliver and his dad. He never woke up late or ignored them so they were instantly worried that one of their partners got mad and did something bad to their precious angel. His dad grabbed his gun and walked upstairs, Oliver right behind him. "Do you think Rina got mad?" Oliver asked.

"Possibly. Could also be one of the many others" They went up to Renjun's room and just about gave the poor thing a heart attack. Renjun gasped and backed up, nearly falling. They both hid their guns.

"What the.." Renjun smiled. "What are you guys doing..?" He asked.

"We got worried. You weren't responding"

"Oh" He shut his door and walked downstairs. They both followed him. "I didn't even hear you, I'm sorry" He frowned.

"You okay, Renjun-ah?" His mom asked.

Renjun nodded quickly, a big smile on his face. "Course! I just didn't hear you- Oh.. Did I miss breakfast?" He asked, frowning.

"Well, your brother was planning on leaving early today, so..." His mom started.

Oliver walked over and smiled, ruffling his hair. "You can eat, it's not a big deal"

"Hyung" He whined, "I spent so much time on that" He went over to the mirror by the door and fixed it.

Oliver smiled fondly at him. Renjun was everyones pride and joy. They all looked so closely after him and got worried about the smallest things, like just now when he didn't answer after 2 seconds. Renjun went into the kitchen, Oliver right behind him.

"So..." Oliver said, smirking. Renjun grabbed a waffle and put some strawberries on top. He looked at Oliver and tilted his head.

"Huh?" Oliver was just giving him a look. Renjun giggled, "What, hyung?" He put some whipped cream on top.
