Renjun frowned. "It's okay to not forgive them right away" Haechan said. "You're not bad for that, they practically abandoned you for a night. It makes sense to not just say it's okay"
"Is it?" He asked, frowning.
"Of course. If you forgive people like that, even though what they did really hurt you, they'll end up taking advantage of you. They'll think it's okay to do it again and they'll keep doing it"
Renjun hummed and nodded. "So.. they won't get mad if I say it's not okay and that it hurt me?"
"Do they love you?"
"Of course! I-I mean.. I think so... That made me feel like they don't"
Haechan nodded. "I'm sure they do. But if they love you, they'll understand"
Renjun sighed and got up. "I have to get to school, would you mind bringing me back home?"
Haechan wouldn't lie, he didn't wanna stop hanging out with Renjun but he figured Renjun wasn't really having fun with him. But Renjun actually really like being with Haechan and didn't wanna leave, either. He just wasn't one that skipped school like it was nothing. And his parents would get mad at him if he skipped so he didn't really have a choice. "I suppose..." Haechan said, sighing dramatically.
Renjun smiled. "W-We could.. Um.. We c-could hang out again" Renjun said shyly. "I-I don't know if you want.. if you w-want to um.." He looked down. "Sorry"
Haechan smiled. "Are you getting all shy~" He got up.
"No~ I just.. I don't-"
"Relax" Haechan fixed his slightly messy hair. "Do you wanna have lunch together?"
He smiled. "Yes.. please"
"Perfect" Haechan said, staring at him for a second. "Anyway- Sorry" He shook his head and backed away. "Are you ready now?"
Renjun giggled. "Yes~"
"Cool, cool.." He cleared his throat. "Let's go, then" Haechan left the room. Renjun smiled and ran after him.
"Now who's shy?" Renjun said.
He scoffed and hit his arm. "Shut up" They soon left and went to Renjun's house. "Do you wanna ride with me? I don't mind waiting"
Renjun hummed. "Sure. I'll be quick!"
"Take your time" Renjun smiled and nodded. He got out and walked inside.
5 minutes earlier...
"Why the hell is Renjun with Haechan?" His dad asked.
"He picked him up last night when no one else would..." Oliver said. "He was doing a delivery at the school. And he knows that we're part of it all. I don't know how but he knows"
"Why are they close enough for him to come to the rescue??" His mom snapped.
"I don't know, mom! I told him not to talk to Haechan, like multiple times" Oliver said.
