I use Fwhip as a villain in this, and I'm sorry! I just needed an antagonist, so apologies for that ;-;
Pix's POV
I started searching through my chests almost immediately when I reached them, and then realised that any potions I had, would probably be in my Enderchest. I threw it down, and found a potion-filled shulker box, and quickly enough, I found healing potions. Two would (hopefully) be enough.
As much as it felt embarrassing (for some reason), I started running back to the museum, climbing up the ladder in literal moments, finding Oli sat up, clinging his head in pain.
"P-Pix..?"
"Are you alright?"
"My head... I don't feel... well..."
"I'm gonna try and help you, I promise. I've got potions.. somewhere... ah, here they are! Healing I, I didn't have any Healing II ready to go. Here."
I passed Oli one of the two potions, and he drank the first one, while I placed the second beside him, on an oak plank I'd repurposed as a "bedside table".
"Th-Thanks.."
"You're welcome! I'm gonna head off to go and do some more digging around the area yesterday, see if there's anymore there than the crown."
"P-Pix, wait. Can you stay.. please? I don't really like being left on my own."
He looked so nervous asking me, and I just couldn't refuse. But it's not like I wanted to anyway, I was exhausted too.
"Alright. You'll probably forget to take the other potion anyway, and I can't help when im on the other side of a Savannah."
Oli smiled, and I came and sat beside him. He leaned on my shoulder, and I started blushing again like mad. I didn't have a CLUE what to do, but Oli was just nervous and jumpy all the time, and now he was actually being open, well, kinda, I didn't wanna put myself back to square one.
I dared myself to put my arm around his shoulder, and he leaned in closer. At this point, Oli started yawning again, still clearly tired.
"You're tired."
"N-No! I'm not.."
He let out another yawn, desperately trying to hide it, and failing miserably.
"It's obvious you're tired Oli. Please, let's lay down, I'll stay with you this time, I promise."
He thought for a moment, and nodded, and we got under the duvet together. Oli stayed attached to me, and insisted that we cuddled. I didn't wanna say no, so I put my arm around Oli, while he curled up into my chest, placing his head just in front of mine, so we were face-to-face.
We both blushed, but neither of us pulled away, and we both just stared into eachothers eyes, until Oli actually fell asleep, and just a few minutes later, I fell asleep too.
Oli's POV
Pix persuaded me to sleep.
I don't sleep, this is why, I can't take this any longer. Wake me up, someone, please!
I overthink too easily. I'll admit it, but it's always a curse, never a blessing.
