We put on our helmets for our suits as we made our way to the entrances, Caleb's accent colour is blue while mine is purple. When we arrived at the door, the person with the yellow accent, which was Owen had his hands crossed while the red accent, which was Echo waited for just a step behind him.
"Ready?" Owen asked as we nodded before waiting for the spaceship to fully land. I glanced at Echo since I felt an emotion from her and knew the cause of it.
I smirked but thankfully no one can see it. "Echo, I see Caleb as a brother, he is all yours," I said to her softly before I felt shocked and embarrassed from her.
"I don't like him that way!" she yelled back as I sent the feeling of affirmation to her while imagining her face being red.
Owen opened the door once we landed and we all stepped out of the spaceship, I looked around but I didn't recognise anything besides trees and more trees. "Let's follow the plan and find this base of theirs," Owen said as I noticed him looking towards the mountains in the distance.
In an instant, Caleb and Echo disappeared with a strick of blue lighting into the forest and vibration in the air. I spread my mental sense before Owen and I pulled out something similar to a hoverboard and went after the two people.
Owen and I are about halfway to the mountains after making several detours due to various aggressive animals. "Owen, we located their base, it seems to be an old home of a large animal that dig into the mountain," Caleb said over the comms as we headed for their location.
We slowed down a distance away from their location before putting the hoverboard away by collapsing it. We slowly walked our way there while being careful about our footing, we finally spotted both Caleb and Echo hiding behind some trees and bushes quite some distance away from the hole in the side of the mountain.
We crawled towards them before I closed my eyes and pushed my mental sense as far as possible, trying to detect how many people are inside this place. "About 100 people, maybe more but about half of them or just under half of them are scientists and engineers," I said as I furrowed my brows while listening to their thoughts. "Seems likes they are mining for something to make a weapon."
I opened my eyes and sighed in defeat. "I'm going to go back and memorise the book about resources at this rate along with their details," I grumbled before glancing at them. "What are Xyronite Crystals? They are apparently mining for it now,"
"There's a Xyronite Crystal deposit in that cave?!" Caleb exclaimed softly while looking at the hole at the side of the cave.
Owen looked at the cave. "Xyronite Cyrstal are a special but dangerous crystal that is only found on certain planets, they make be made into energy or various weapons when combined with different ore properties," he glanced at me. "Those Cyrstal are actually the reason why this planet and the living organism here are so dangerous."
I nodded in understanding before looking back. "So, Sentinels would have a lot of them, right?" I asked since I remembered some of their thoughts.
Caleb shook his head. "They have a certain amount but definitely not a lot, these crystals are hard to find with quite a little information about them," he explained.
I nodded in understanding. "Should we check out other spots then? This group has been tracking, mining and exporting these crystals even before we left the planet," I asked as they snapped their heads to look at me.
"Are you sure they have been mining and exporting while Sentinels was here?" Owen asked seriously.
I nodded. "Unless the guy that is currently going through the list of names that have purchased the crystal is fake then I'm pretty sure, besides some of the names the guy is listing off are some of the criminal organizations or people."
