(P.S, he slept on the couch....)

I woke up really early the next day and he was still fast asleep, I went into the kitchen and made breakfast, when I got out, he was already awake.

"Good morning V" I said with slight nervousness .

"Did you sleep well, Y/n?" He said with a really handsome smile.

"Yeah, you really helped a lot, thank you so much, I feel much better, uh... I made breakfast, its to say thank you"

"I'm really sorry, I have to leave now, I didn't call anyone that I would staying out"

"Okay" I replied. I really wanted to thank him for helping me.

He sighed when he saw the disappointed look on my face, "I promise we'll have another breakfast tomorrow, we can go to Puju's, you can give me a thank-you breakfast there"

I smiled and nodded, "Bye" he said as he took his jacket and walked out.

I had nothing to do all day, so I called Yu-Hwa and asked if she wanted to meet up, she said she would be at a café with her friends this morning, she said they would spend the whole day together.

I met them at the Café, we had planned to spend the entire day together. I wanted a girls' time to get my mind off things. Taehyung kept texting me even during my girls' day out. He would ask if I was alright, and if I wasn't crying anymore, told me I should get a pet and eat well. he called four times and kept texting me.

We went to the Break fast place the next day as I had promised, the week went very smoothly, we talked on the phone at least once a day, throughout that week, he would call me periodically, I learnt a lot of Korean language from him, we had late nights chat but it was platonic, I made sure it was always a friend's basis, I couldn't get my heart broken twice ...

"Ayonghaseyo" I said giggling, a strange number had called and I wanted to try out my Korean.

The person laughed, it felt like a familiar voice. "Y/n, that's not correct, anyway, this is Min Yoongi"

"Good morning Hyung"

"Good morning, I wanted to ask you for a favour, we were supposed to have a female performance on a show tomorrow, and the artist cancelled, since you sing so well, I was wondering if you would want to help me out,"

I sighed, I wasn't doing anything tomorrow and it would be really disrespectful to say no to him. "Uh... Okay Hyung"

"Thank you so much, Y/n, maybe you should drop by the studio later so you can rehearse"

I agreed and he hung up, what had I gotten my self into? I dashed to my writing pad, I smiled slightly as I picked up an old piece of paper with lyrics on it. It was the first song which I had written and shown someone, that was the same day he gave me the peach handkerchief...

Later in the day, I went to the studio as promised, I was surprised to see Taehyung, I thought Yoongi would be there.

"Hey" I said sitting opposite him.

He smiled. "Hey, Hyung said you'd be performing with me tomorrow"

"With you? He only said I would be performing, he didn't say I would be performing with you... anyway, it'd be better"

"Have you picked a song?"

"Well... Yeah, I wrote this and I haven't exactly shown it to anyone" I gave him the paper with a thumping heart, he looked ravishing in white, it was hard to not stare at him.

"This is really great, seems like a love song, did you... write it for someone?"

I sighed. "Not exactly"

We rehearsed for the entire day and we left the studio really late. 

I was really nervous, we performed and things went well, though... midway into the song, Jungkook had stood up and went backstage.

After the show, Taehyung had to speak with some producers so I went backstage to see if I could find him, I was hoping nothing was wrong, I found him seated at a corner backstage, I walked closer to him, were those tears?

"Jungkook, are you okay?" I asked with worry, I wondered what would have made him so upset.

He suddenly smiled, looked at me and said "She still hasn't changed a bit, still as caring"

I was confused, what the hell was wrong with him? "You're crying, is anything the problem?"

"Do you remember the girl I told you about? I just saw her with someone else, I had sacrificed everything, I had held on to a single promise, like a fool, guess this is the world's way of telling me life is not a fairytale"

"Jungkook what's wrong?" I heard a voice from behind, I sighed, the others were here, what a relief! Maybe he could tell them what was wrong.

Jungkook stood up and wiped his eyes, "Guys its nothing, are you guys done? We should go now.... I'll wait in the car" He said and walked off before anyone could even reply.
