Subhadra- The Love Of Arjuna's life

The dead monster and an injury

Arjun and Subhadra reached the cave. They were scanning the surroundings , until they heard a  snap. Subhadra knew the rope was broken. She immediately ran forward to see the scene she dreaded. Subhadra layed out a plan and told it to Arjun via mind talking or telepathy -

Subhadra - You have to distract it. Shoot as many arrows as you can , by the time I'll look around trying to figure out his weak spot.

Arjun - Fine. Just be careful.

Subhadra - I'll be fine. Hurry !

Arjun comes right in front of the monster and yells - 

Arjun - Hey ! You big hunk of junk ! If you're a warrior, try to defeat me and hope not to die !!

The monster charges. Arjun starts shooting arrows and hoping that Subhadra would figure out a way to defeat the monster

Meanwhile, Subhadra was going through the monster's feet and thinking hard

Subhadra (thinking) - The monster has 5 poisonous heads out of 6. To compensate the powerful poison , a very weak head must have been granted................the 6th head is the weak spot ! It's the only head that does not have poison ! So it must be the one !

Subhadra (still thinking) - There must be a way by which I can distinguish the 6th head from the others..... but what ?

She hid behind a rock, watching Arjun duel with the asura. Her eyes shone as she saw him shooting relentlessly. There wasn't even a scratch on him. Suddenly, she remembered the way she had told him to defeat king Drupad. One of heads was different. (Don't bother looking that in the picture. You ain't gonna find it. Sorry.) It had slightly darker red spikes. She immediately ran behind the asura and climbed on top of it. A head spotted that. It bit Subhadra in her left arm. She winced, forgetting that that stupid monster's bite was poisonous. She battled to maintain conscience. Things were turning blurry. But she knew it was now or never.

She took out her sword, and stabbed the (slightly redder) 6th monster head. The monster wailed in pain. Arjun stopped attacking and glanced at Subhadra. She managed a grateful smile. he couldn't let Arjun know about her injury. He had his wedding tomorrow.

The monster fell down dead. Subhadra leaped down (somehow, to not let Arjun get suspicious) and said -

Subhadra - I hate the color magenta now.

Arjun - How did you figure out which was the 6th head ?

Being mind connected he knew what Subhadra had been thinking. But she turned off the link when she was bit. So he did not know she was hurt.

Subhadra - The same way you found out the real king Drupad. Come on ! I'm hungry.

Arjun - Me too. Come on, lets go back to the hut.
