CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR !
^louise

Jack stood at the front of the class, a red pen in his hands as all the students looked at him with a bored expression on their faces. history class wasn't a favourite. they were learning about the big plague, and how it killed so many people. estella thought it was just completely pointless to learn about, when they were all living in a time completely worse than when the plague happened.

when people died with the plague, they stayed dead. now, when people died with this virus, they came back to life and decided to have a feast. people alive during the plague days should've known how lucky they were that the plague took them out, not this. at least they'd actually stay dead and wouldn't have to kill them two times at once, like it wasn't already emotional enough.

daryl had gone with the others to go through with their plan on the saviours. estella didn't know what the plan was, but she chose not to question it. she thought it better if she didn't know. that way, she wouldn't spend her entire day worrying about it.

"i've never been so bored in my whole life." louise groaned, putting her head in her hands as her elbows rested on the table.

"me either. i hate history." ruby sighed.

"at least we'll probably be in history books one day." estella said.

"you'll be in history books for the worlds ugliest kid." james said from the back off the class, making estella turn around.

"i'm not taking any insults from a guy that wore diapers to bed until he was ten years old." estella flipped him off. (a/n i promise this isn't a medical condition he just pissed the bed cuz he's lazy.)

"at least i have real parents." james scoffed. "your dad probably got himself eaten on purpose just to get away from you."

"that's not funny, james." ruby crossed her arms.

"yeah it is. if i had a kid like you, i'd walk straight into a herd of walkers and let myself die." james laughed.

"then do it. walk into a herd of walkers and let yourself die. see if any of us cry for you, weirdo." estella rolled her eyes.

she tried to act like the comment didn't hurt her feelings, but it did. her dad did die from walkers, and with what her mom said, it made her wonder if his words were true. did her dad really get himself eaten just to get away from her? she hoped not. it hurt her a lot when people reminded her that daryl wasn't her real dad, too. it made her wonder if daryl didn't want to be. if he just got forced into it one day and couldn't get back out.
