“Neirali!” The brunette stopped in a spacious corridor, turning around at the sound of a familiar voice. Her lush, slightly curly hair shimmered in the sun. Short strands tumbled out of a waist-length braid and framed her slightly swarthy face with careless elegance.
“Ah, hello Jed.” Her eyes, radiant with friendly calmness, did not express any surprise. “I had a feeling that you would work with us.”
“Yes! Now we are colleagues,” the young man pulled back the upper part of his light-colored suit, demonstrating the logo of the S&PHC center embroidered on the breast pocket.
“I congratulate you. It's actually a great space for creativity and self-expression. Let's go.” They went further down the corridor with panoramic windows, connecting the two buildings together. The entire surface of the walls that wasn’t taken up by the ultra-strong glass was planted with a green living carpet with an automated care system. Energy from solar panels triggered mechanisms for converting air into water and automatically supported the life of trillions of plants that provided a wonderful microclimate in the center of spiritual and physical health of the city of Illion. “I'll show you the cafeteria if you want.”
Neirali tapped her wrist gadget a few times, alerting the staff that she was taking a break, and sat down with Jed in comfortable orthopedic gray chairs with a panoramic view of the small bay.
“You only have a few free hours a day in your flexible schedule right now while you adapt, right?”
“Um, yes.” Jed tapped the touchpad on the slide-out table and began to browse the menu. “How much have you got?”
“Depends on how I feel. Usually about five hours. At this time, this is an optimal proportion of workload and rest,” Neirali calmly pulled off her sandals, sat down cross-legged and also began to study the menu. “What kind of specialist are you, now?
“Physical health diagnostician. In short, I recognize the beginning of psychosomatics and pass it on.”
“The very first step. Yeah, I remember that was your favorite part of uni.” She selected a mango pudding with chia seeds and freshly squeezed orange juice and touched the order button with a satisfied look.
