Butters Stotch had always been a shy and reserved boy. He wasn't particularly popular at South Park Elementary, and often found himself sitting alone at lunch or recess. But one day, everything changed when he met [Y/N] [L/N].

[Y/N] had just moved to town at the start of the school year, and was quickly making a name for herself as the new kid. They were smart, funny, and had an infectious laugh that made Butters' heart skip a beat. When they were assigned to work on a science project together, Butters felt like he had won the lottery.

As they worked on the project, Butters found himself getting more and more infatuated with [Y/N]. He couldn't stop thinking about Their gorgeous [H/C] hair, their bright smile, and the way they laughed at his jokes. He started to notice how their eyes sparkled when they talked, and how they always smelled like lavender.

But Butters knew that he didn't stand a chance with [Y/N]. They were way out of his league, cool and confident, while he was just a shy and awkward kid. He tried to suppress his feelings, telling himself that he was just being silly, but they only grew stronger.

At lunch one day, Butters watched as [Y/N] walked past him, giggling with their friends. They looked so happy and carefree, and it made Butters' heart ache with longing. He knew then and there that he had to act on his feelings, no matter how daunting it seemed.

After school, Butters nervously approached [Y/N] by her locker.

"Hey, [Y/N]? Can I talk to you for a second?" he asked, his voice shaking slightly.

"Sure, Butters. What's up?" [Y/N] replied, smiling warmly.

Butters took a deep breath and braced himself. "I know this might sound really weird, but I just wanted to tell you that I have a huge crush on you. Like, a really huge crush. And I know you probably don't feel the same way, but I just had to let you know."

[Y/N]'s expression softened as they listened to Butters. "Butters, that's so sweet of you to say. And honestly, I think you're a great guy. But I'm not really looking for a relationship right now. I hope you understand."

Butters felt a rush of disappointment wash over him, but he tried to hide it behind a smile. "Yeah, I understand. Thanks for being honest, [Y/N]."

As he walked home, Butters felt a mix of emotions. He was happy that he had finally told [Y/N] how he felt, but also sad that they didn't feel the same way. He knew that he would always have a special place in his heart for them, but he also realized that there were plenty of other people out there who might like him for who he was.

Over time, Butters and [Y/N] remained friends, working on school projects together and occasionally chatting in the hallways. But the memory of his huge crush lingered in the back of Butters' mind, a reminder of the sweet and innocent love he had felt for [Y/N] [L/N].
