Changing the Future

Chapter Ten: Multitasking

"Zelena, hurry. Please." I squeaked, my whole body trembling, my voice was an octave higher than normal and I thought that I may pass out from the pain."Ahh! PLEASE STOP! PLEASE!" I screamed trying to back away from my sister, Robin rubbed my arms then got up and grabbed his bow and arrow, blocking the three of us. Zelena quickly worked, with Emma here she knew that things would be rushed now. Robin aimed his arrow towards Emma's shoulder, he released it, but it came close to contact with her until she stopped it and changed the direction to Zelena. "Emma! No!" I yelled trying to somehow get through to her between pants. "She's changed! I've changed! You can too! But if you do this, AH! Mmmmm, you will just be digging yourself a bigger hole!" I yelled, hunching forward, grabbing my stomach. I leaned back, jolting back from my sister's invasive touch. Then I suddenly felt her remove her hand. "Okay! I was able to get the shoulders free, but you still have to push this baby out Regina!" Zelena yelled, throwing a green fireball at Emma. "I have to push!" I wailed, Zelena throwing all sorts of magic back and forth at Emma, "Just hang on sis, you're stretching, just wait!" she tried to turn towards me but the Dark One procured a large source of light. Robin took out the page and jumped in front of my sister. "Emma! Stop! Listen to me, it's me you're after! I am responsible for this! Not my sister, not my husband, and NOT MY BABY! So just wait! Wait until it's just the two of us to fight, just please. Don't hurt my little baby." I begged. Zelena turned around and placed one hand on each of my knees. "I'm sorry sis, go ahead, I'm right here." She said rubbing my leg, I felt her spread my knees out trying to make room for the baby to come through, I felt her move inside of me, pressure pushing down on me. "Zelena! There's so much... PRESSURE!" I yelled crushing Snow's hand until the blood was completely gone. Snow grabbed my shoulders and moved my hair back and twisted it so it was out of my face. I started to push the baby out, it felt like my whole body was being torn to shreds, the burning made me shake, I felt something try and come out, making me nearly jump in pain. The princess moved behind me, moving her arms under mine, grabbing both of my hands and slightly rocked me. "I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS! JUST GET IT OUT!" I screamed, my head pushing on Snow's jugular. I gasped when the pain eased a little, allowing me to take in deep breaths while Snow rubbed my temple while Robin kept Emma back. "Well you got the head out!" Zelena said, she did something that made me wince. "Ow." I muttered, wiping my nose. I felt the cramping start again and I sat up to push but Zelena nudged me down. "Hold on hon, we got a cord. Just give me a minute and whatever you do, don't push." She said yanking on something. I nearly crushed Snow's hand, gasping while I waited for my sister to finish, every instinct in my body telling me to push. "You're okay Regina. Everything is fine, this normally happens, just wait a minute." Snow said tightening her grip on me. Zelena sat back and dropped her hands into her lap. "Okay sis, good to go." Said nudging my knees apart gently, then decided to push them apart with her elbows, moving her leg out from under her to keep one of mine apart, her hand pushing my inner thigh away. I sat up and pushed, I squeezed my eyes shut and kept going, the pain made me shudder, Mary Margaret called Robin over, Zelena entrapped Emma so he could come. I yelled when I felt something move, my pain intensifying. My voice trembled, all of my energy felt like it was draining from me. "Ahhh ohhh!" I continuously half moaned and half screamed, I squeezed Snow's hands, I felt little flickers of fire protruding from my palms into hers. I fell back, my body feeling weak and limp, but I did not feel the relief that I got earlier, it was just horrible discomfort and pressure building up inside of my body. "Robin dear, I need you to come and hold your wife's leg, I'm trying to do that, I can hold one but I need at least one hand to pull your baby out, the shoulders are coming and this is definitely not comfortable for your wife." Zelena instructed, Robin grabbed my thigh and moved it away from my other leg. Snow was panting with me, her shoulders curving around the back of my body, allowing me to rest my head on her chest while she leaned back and forth. "Remember in and out, just like that, heee hooo." She instructed breathing with me, she rested our hands on my stomach which was tight from pushing. I grimaced and Snow sat me up, Robin rubbing my thigh assuringly. "One more." Robin and Snow said in unison, Zelena nodded and grabbed some of her tools. I nodded and barred my body down, I gave it all of my strength, my body felt like it was being lit on fire while someone split me in half, I opened my mouth and a scream released from my lungs, I arched my head back onto Snow's neck, praying that this would be over soon. "Oh my God! I'm dying! Someone help me! Ahhh!" I wailed, grasping my stomach, trying to will the pain away. The fire increased, my scream becoming louder. I felt one final pull, then it stopped. I was done.
