Clementine
I just woke up, ugh I'm going to a new school. I hate moving, but my adoptive dad Lee had a new promotion in West Virginia so we had to move. I had to leave my childhood friend Duck, I'll miss him but we had to move. I walked up to my mirror and brushed my hair, my hair looks so messy.
"Clementine honey! We have to drop your brother AJ to school first, hurry up and eat your breakfast" my adoptive mother Carley shouted from downstairs.
"Okay Mom I'm coming!" I quickly rushed downstairs.
Once we got into the car and arrived at the school, I was sweating intensely. I was so nervous, I don't like meeting new people.
"Okay have fun honey! Make good choices." I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Carley's voice.
"Don't worry, I will" I'll just have to get through today.
As I got out the car and Carley drove off, I took one big breath and walked inside. I walked to the office to find a nice lady at the desk who gave me a warm welcome.
"Oh hi honey, are you new here?" She asked.
"Yes I am ma'am, uh do I get a schedule?" I looked at a few papers on her desk.
"Yes here you go! And your name is?"
"Clementine Everett"
"Alright hon, welcome to Greenbrier High School"
"Thanks!" I took the paper and walked out the office.

My first day here is on a Tuesday, so I have Chemistry. I start trying to find my class, but I can't find it.
As I'm walking through the halls I keep bumping into random people, it's so crowded. I thought I was almost at my class when suddenly I bumped into a random girl and accidentally knocked her stuff down and I quickly helped her pick them back up.
"Oh sorry! I'll help you pick those up" I felt so embarrassed, this is my first day and I already knocked someone's stuff over.
"Thanks, it's no worries, there's a lot of people in the hallways", "My name is Brody" she added.
"Clementine" I introduced back.
"Wait, aren't you the new girl here? I can show you where your classes are!" Brody said, I gave her a smile and nodded.
