General POV"Guys, has anyone found Louis yet?" Violet asked the group, they were still at school worried. "Nope, nobody found him yet" Aasim replied. Everybody was stressed out, this whole situation was insane.
Just then, 2 other teens walked up to them, they looked pretty new as nobody recognized them. "Hey guys, do you know what happened today? We just got enrolled in this school 3 days ago" a girl said with a smile.
"Yeah, our friend Louis went missing and we didn't find him yet" Marlon told them with a stressed look on his face. "Oh, sorry to hear that. My name is Mariana, and this is my brother Gabriel" the girl introduced themselves, the boy waved at them.
"Oh, nice to meet you guys. I'm Marlon" Marlon introduced himself as everyone else followed after.
"GUYS!" they hear a voice yell behind them, there stands a tired Mitch panting as he ran the way there. "I think, we should go back home. Something bad is happening" he said out of breath.
"You couldn't just text us that?" Violet said with sass. "Just hurry!" Mitch rushed everyone to get into their cars as everyone went back home. Everybody received a text from Mitch afterwards telling them to read a new article that had just came out.
Clem's POV
As I made my way to the Feret Hospital, I went in and tried looking for the room number Louis texted me. "Uh hello Miss? Do you know where room 114 is?" I asked a nurse.
"Oh just down that corridor over there, then turn left" she replied with a smile, I thanked her and ran that direction. I opened the door to find Louis sleeping on a hospital bed.
"Louis! Are you okay?" I quickly rushed to him, he woke up and smiled at me. "Oh hey Clem, yeah I'm fine don't worry, I saw a massive group of people running the opposite direction of me and then I could smell a type of gas then I collapsed" He explained to me.
A nurse came in with a clipboard and smiled at us as she told us some news. "Good news Mr. Smith! You are able to go home, it was just a mild.."
General POV
Louis brought Clem to his house as he was allowed to leave, and while he laid on his bed he shifted slightly in his bed, his face displaying a mixture of gratitude and slight embarrassment.
"Well, turns out it was just a mild case of food poisoning," he confessed, scratching the back of his head sheepishly.
"I must have eaten something bad earlier that day. It hit me pretty hard and caused me to feel weak and dizzy. Thankfully, the doctors were able to identify it quickly and provide the necessary treatment."
Clementine's eyebrows furrowed in concern. "Food poisoning? That doesn't sound too pleasant. Are you feeling better now?"
Louis nodded, offering her a reassuring smile. "Yeah, much better, thanks to the amazing nurses and doctors there. They took care of me and made sure I got the rest and medication I needed. I'm just glad it wasn't anything more serious."
Relieved to hear that Louis was on the road to recovery, Clem sat down next to his bed. "Well, I'm glad it was nothing too serious either. We were all so worried when you didn't show up at school."
Louis grinned, reaching out to squeeze Clem's hand gently. "Thanks, Clem. I'm lucky to have you and my friends who care about me. Now that I'm getting out of here, we can catch up on everything that's been happening."
"Oh, and don't worry, I won't be eating anything questionable anytime soon." he said with a chuckle. Clementine giggled and they stared into each others eyes, they haven't had a moment like this in a long time.
