Flashback continuation...

Ananya leaves from there and boards the flight...she cries in plane...

Ananya in mind:how could he confess to me like that..i thought we could be best friends forever..i don't want to break our friendship by the name of love..i don't even know if i like him in that way or not...i better focus on myself now..

Ananya joins in post graduation and there she meets akash who is her classmate and one of her friend..soon ananya is in 2nd year....

Meanwhile,

Arjun gets broken with each day by day...deep inside he knows that their friendship is almost at edge to break but he couldn't do anything...he ignores ananya's texts and ananya too ignores his calls... suddenly he recieves a call from arohi...

Arohi:Arjun..if you don't mind can I meet you?

Arjun:yeah sure you can arohi...

Arohi comes to his room to meet him..they both sits in awkward silence...

Arohi:Arjun... actually my parents are looking for matches because anu di said she won't marry right now..Arjun..i secretly loves you from 2 years..before that i used to have a little crush on you...it's ok if you don't accept my love because I know from the start that these feelings only get me broken...i just want to know if i have a chance or not...i will be happy with your answer no matter what..

Saying this arohi leaves..Arjun thinks about her words because it is his present situation...he calls Sid and tells him about it..Sid comes to his room..

Sid:what are you waiting Arjun? Move on from anu..it's clear that she doesn't love you like you do...arohi is also a good one you know? Now the decision is yours Arjun...

He pats his shoulder and leaves..Arjun calls ananya...

Arjun:anu..i patiently waited for your answer for 1and half year anu..i still can wait life long for you if you like me the way I like you...just tell me do i even have a chance?

Ananya:Arjun..i never thought about you more as than my best friend...

Arjun cuts the call..he cries his heart out...

Few days passes,
Arjun gives chance to arohi for which she gets so happy...they both slowly start getting to know each other but still a part of Arjun misses ananya in everywhere and everything....

2 months later...

Ananya comes to India for her internship...she comes happily...she sees Arjun waiting for her and smiles...she walks towards him and sees arohi too...arohi hugs ananya and ananya looks at Arjun...they reaches ananya's house...

Ananya hugs her parents... everyone are chitchatting and ananya notices arohi and Arjun being close to each other...

Ananya:seems like everything changed in two years... finally i think my best friend became aruu's best friend too..??

Arohi shyly smiles and tends to reply when Mallika cuts her off saying..

Mallika:Arjun is always your bestfriend anu...no they are not going to be best friends..ofcourse they are getting to know each other more because they are going to marry right..

Ananya gets shocked..she looks at Arjun but soon smiles...

Ananya:congrats aruu..you are growing so fast...

Rajan:anu..did you thought about the hospital you are going to choose for internship..i think you better join at arjun's hospital..he also joined a week ago as a intern at a hospital...

Ananya nods..soon Arjun bids goodbye to everyone...

Ananya and Arjun works as surgeon interns...they both interact awkwardly with each other everytime...

Soon arohi and Arjun gets engaged and ananya accepts akash's proposal...

Months passes and arohi graduates soon it's her marriage....

Iam gonna skip marriage functions for now because later they will be as small flashbacks in upcoming chapters..

Flashback ends...

At present...

Arjun sighs and buys ananya's favourite chocolates because she told him in his ear to get her chocolates...

Arjun drives to the hospital and gives all the chocolates to ananya...

Ananya:hurrayy..these many chocolates for me..and everything is my favourite...friend...thank you....

Saying this ananya giggles and Arjun smiles seeing her...a week passes and ananya only bonds with Arjun more and more...she starts behaving clingy to him as she thinks him as only her friend...

Soon ananya gets discharged from the hospital..Arjun is taking her in his car..

Ananya:friend..i want to eat ice-cream..can I get it..???

Arjun nods and he brings icecream for ananya who eats childishly...icecream gets sticken to her nose...Arjun cleans it and they both share a eye lock...

Soon Arjun's phone rings which disturbs them..Arjun lifts the call and starts driving fast...

Arjun and ananya comes to ananya's house...Mallika cries holding Rajan..

Arjun:what happened uncle you told me some emergency...???

Arohi:Arjun..it's actually akash is dead in an accident...he lost his sense after knowing anu dii's condition...due to which he got into accident and he couldn't make out...

Arjun gets shocked hearing her..he looks at ananya who looks at him blinking her eyes innocently...
