TaeHyun's POV

My eyes were focused on my feet as I headed back home. I still couldn't believe that I met Kim Himchan! I felt like an idiot not having recognized him the second I saw him but to my defence, he was wearing a hood and it was dark! Kicking my shoes off, I pulled my socks off and continued trudging through the sand. The cool grains slipped between my toes and I smiled happily.

"Kim Himchan called me attractive." I sang out to the ocean. A huge grin crossed my face as I remembered vividly how those words had come out of his full, attractive lips. The smile slowly fell as I remembered exactly how I'd met him. He saw me in such a horrible state! As the sand turned into pavement, I paused to slip my bare feet into my shoes, stuffing my socks into my pockets. The walk home was silent, the only sound being the occasional wind.

I entered my neighborhood, halting the moment my eyes fell on them. A group of boys from my school were hanging out in front of my neighbor's house. No, they weren't my friends, but yeah, they knew me pretty well. They liked fighting and they had the perfect reason to beat me. I quickly retraced my steps so that the homophobes wouldn't see me. Hiding next to one of the houses, I scowled to myself. Now I have to sneak into my house. Going around the houses, I jumped into one of my neighbors backyards and made my way to my own, climbing fence after fence. Once in my own backyard, my heart slowed down. I went to the backdoor, groaning to myself when I found it locked. I only had the keys to the front door! Cursing myself for locking the back door, I went to my window. The window was a bit higher so I would have to hoist myself up.

With a determined gaze, I reached up and began trying to lift myself. My arms gave in though I fell, my arm landing on a piece of glass.

"Ow!" I whimpered, glowering at the glass. Blood trickled down my arm, making me feel a bit nauseous. Once again, I reached for the window, grabbing it and the putting my legs on the sill like a toddler trying to climb a couch. I made it up and lifted my window, the latch rusted. My hand was left with painful scratches as I fell into the room. I rushed out of my room to the front door, peeping out of the window next to it.

"Why?" I yelled, angry. All of that was for nothing! They were already gone! I stomped to the kitchen and began washing my cut gently. After bandaging the injury, I went back to my room, stripping out of my clothes and throwing my pajamas on. Lying on my bed, I looked at the ceiling tiredly. They left earlier than usual today. They usually hung out in front of my next door neighbor's house every Friday night. They probably found out a fight was going on close by and ran to it.

I woke up with the sunlight streaming in through my sky blue curtains. My arms and hands still hurt from last night's events. I rolled over in bed, wondering what to do today. After convincing myself to get up, I showered and put on a pair of jeans and skinny jeans. As I towel dried my hair, I went to the kitchen and opened my fridge, pouting when I realized it was empty. My stomach grumbled and I sighed, heading back to my room. Throwing the towel on the bed, I grabbed a pair of clean socks and headed to the front door. Putting my shoes and jacket of, I grabbed my keys and exited my house.

I walked to a nearby breakfast diner, one I went to quite often since my fridge emptied out pretty quickly. The Diner was a cozy place, booths lining the window and tabled next to the counter. I sat down in one of the booths, the smell of the classic western breakfasts of the diner nearly making me drool. A familiar waitress approached me, pad in hand. She was a petite and pretty girl with long brown curls and light brown eyes. Her eye makeup was always light, just a bit of eyeliner or mascara on. She was nice too, always smiling and striking up conversation. There was only one problem though: the small lustful glint that showed in her eyes when talking to me.

"Hi Oppa!" The eighteen year old greeted, bowing.

"Hey Min Jee." I said, holding my arm out for the menu.

"How come you weren't here yesterday?" She asked as I looked through the menu.

"I had food at home." I answered, looking up at her with a small smile. "I'll have two buttermilk pancakes and a glass of milk."

"Nothing else?" She asked.

"Nope." I replied.

"I'll be right back Oppa. Don't die of hunger while I'm gone, okay?" She beamed, turning away from me. The diner doors bell rang and I glanced up curiously. Six laughing boys entered, each of their faces familiar.

"Oh my God." Min Jee squealed. One of the boys turned, meeting her gaze. He smiled politely and bowed before following the other boys to a nearby booth.

"Oh my God! Oppa! Did you see that? Oh my days! Oppa, Jung DaeHyun just smiled and bowed at me!" She yelled. I stayed quiet, eyes on one person of B.A.P. Kim Him Chan took a seat facing me, a grin on his face as he chatted with the other members before he scanned the room. Finally, his eyes landed on me, meeting my stare. Embarrassed, I blushed but couldn't find the power to turn away.
