Chapter 5. The Dumb and The Dumber

Alex did not forget to turn off the camera in her room when she was about to go to sleep the night before; however, Ariya and Olivia completely forgot about one particular camera that was also located in their room. Because of this, when the crew checks the recording from the previous day in the morning, they get quite worked up and make a lot of noise.

The fact that Olivia and Ariya were completely oblivious to their surroundings and focused only on each other made for quite an entertaining sight during the barbecue evening. They smile warmly at one another, speak in hushed tones, and subtly touch each other before placing some meat on the other person's plate. And what they did in the morning, it's a perfect way to wrap up the first twenty-four hours of being a roommate.

"You did what?" Alex asks Ariya, her eyes wide open, as they sit on the kitchen island with Kanya and Nin, who is the first to enter the kitchen.

"I thought it was a dream???? So I went ahead and hugged her from behind?"

"How many glasses of wine did you have last night?"

"A full glass! I wasn't even tipsy!"

"So, you hugged her without her permission?" Alex continues to probe her with questions.

"I thought it was a dream! P'Al, you've got to help me; please don't let the video get into the production." Ariya was in the midst of haggling with her sister when Olivia came walking into the kitchen with Jimena, Thanawat, Max, and Andrea trailing behind her.

"I don't mind if the video makes it into the final cut." Olivia responded quickly, as she walk into the coffee machine, "P'Ya, do you drink coffee or tea in the morning?"

"Green tea, please." Ariya quickly responded, gulped, and was a little taken aback after hearing Olivia's responses regarding the video of them sharing morning snuggles.

"Morning." Andrea smiles and waves to everyone in the kitchen, but her gaze is fixed on Alex the whole time. Jimena looks at her two best friends, sensing that something is going on between them.

Jimena's eyes darted to Nin, who had her arms wrapped around Kanya's waist for a split second when she was about to open the refrigerator, and the latter give responded to her softly. "hah!" she suddenly yelled while knocking on the table, earning a stares from the other two men in the room who were unaware of the tension between the women.

Alex, Ariya, Direk, and Aisoon assist Kanya in preparing breakfast for the entire cast, while Olivia, Andrea, and Nin prepare coffee and tea for the cook. The refrigerator was stocked with food and beverages, and the cabinets were stuffed with instant noodles, rice, and every other type of food that can be purchased from a grocery store. The cast does not have to worry about the film crew because they have food prepared for them. Because the show is about them, they should concentrate on themselves.

They discovered Max's breadmaking abilities when he baked a bagel from scratch. The two-Michelin-Star chef gave his approval of his bagel, "wow, a famous chef gives approval of my bagel." He's beaming with pride, his gaze darting to Olivia, whose full attention is on Ariya.

"This is going to be a long month," Nin stated this while sipping her coffee after becoming aware of her surroundings.

"Oh, absolutely." Jimena agrees and gulps down her morning water before returning her gaze to Nin.

Alex is the first person to make her story for the show first episode, because no one can expect her schedule as a busy doctor. Alex is asked a few questions and shown some of the recording about what she has been doing since yesterday, and she is given the opportunity to make a brief comment regarding it. The production team will repeat this process each day for the next week before they can air the first episode. And every day, the official Roommate account will be posting very brief clips about the activities that the cast participates in on a daily basis.
