The box thuds on the ground as Ei dropped it on the dusting hardwood floors of the house.

She sighs as she reminisces the memories that she made in this home. Everything was how she just left it. The same couch, the same table, the same house. The same record player carried the tunes of their song. It was like everything was frozen in time.

But she was changing and so were you.

---

It wasn't long till a shuffling noise followed by a thud awoke Y/N. She had gotten up from the rickety bed and slowly opened her door — peaking hesitantly to find out what caused the noise.

"Oh it's you."

she paused her groggy self still adjusting to the broad daylight.

"Oh it's you!" She scowled.

The purple haired woman jumped at the girls tone and cleared her throat.

---

"Why are you here?!" They both yelled.

"You know what? get out." Y/N said.

"This is my house as much as it is yours!" Ei retorted.

Y/N turned to the picture of Ei's (deceased) sister Makoto on the wall. "See! She's back! she is back!"

Ei also turns towards the picture. "I'm sure you won't mind me staying here right dear sister?"

They both turn back to each-other

"Ah ah ah~ you left. Remember?"

"Woah, don't revise history! I didn't just leave. — you told me to leave. That's different."

"But you still left so, same same." Y/N smiled.

Y/N turned back to face Ei. "You left for 2 years what makes you think you can still live here?"

Ei pulls out a bundle of keys, "she gave the house to both of us. Legally, we both own it. 50/50."

---

Later the pair found themselves on the couch watching the T.V — with as much space as they could put between them.

The tension was high in the air.

Y/N licked her lips. "You're always so persistent."

---

Ei was persistent and still is. That's what made Y/N fall for her.

Ei was willing to face anything for Y/N.

Her family...

...Or even the weather.

She was always there when Y/N needed her.

Until she wasn't.

---

Y/N tears travelled across the room as Ei failed to show up for her birthday. She was kneeling down at table watching her candle lights slowly flicker out.

"N/N I'm sorry I'm late."

She was very late, the moon was shining bright.

Y/N remained silent as Ei walked up to her and wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

"Don't cry.." she whispers kissing the back of
Y/N's head.

Y/N had pushed Ei's arms off of her and started to head to their bedroom.

Ei licked her lips, "N/N are you tired?"

"Tired of this? Tired of us?"

All that time Y/N felt like it was all lost, meaningless. She felt like in the end she was the one who put in the effort. All her time was lost.

She stops. "Yes I'm tired.."

---

Ei looked at Y/N as she hears her perk up a question.

"Why come back?" She whispered.

Ei sighs and spoke, "to make up for what I owe you."

I have a lot of ideas so this might get updated more than my other book.
