I rested in the hospital bed watching the clock arm move every second.
God this is excruciating.
"Knock, Knock." I hear a familiar voice from the door.
My eyes immediately shoot over to the doorway and I am met with Tori.
"Tori!" I practically yell.
I jump out of the uncomfortable bed and run into her arms.
"I am so so sorry Tori. I am stupid and now you got hurt and I will forever be responsible for these stupid actions. I am just really fucking sorry." I spill out.
"It's okay Morg. I was partially my fault because I told you to go faster, but now look at us."
"Let me see your fingers." I say gently lifting her hand.
The middle, ring and pinky were the ones broken.
God I am never sitting in front of a wheel again.
My parents. Well what parents?
My dad was never there he supposedly left once he heard the word pregnant leave my mom's mouth. And my mom. My poor mom passed away four year ago due to suicide poisoning.
It hurt. My only mentor in my life didn't even want to live for me.
I went to live my aunt Gracie until I finished high school and here I am. Standing in the doorway of a hospital with my best friend because we hit a car trying to get to a modeling photoshoot.
"How is the car we hit?!" I suddenly realize.
"They didn't suffer actual injuries just soreness for the impact. But there car is busted!" Tori says chuckling at the last part.
"Shittt" I groan out.
"Hey ladies" I suddenly hear.
"Oh hey Lola!" I gently greet her.
"How you ladies feeling?" She sweetly asks.
"Much better" we pronounce is sync.
"You will be get to leave today but you still need to talk to the kind man you hit. You both will need to deal with the expensive which he will determine." Lola continues
I nod.
"How much do you think it'll cost?" I ask Lola
She chuckles
"A lot hon." She adds on
"Damn it." I mutter under my breath
"I can always help. And some of my colleagues as well. We're doctors." She says sincerely.
"No, no. I can't accept." I say gracious for her proposal.
"Let's see the price first." Tori adds in.
"The young man is here. Would you like him to join right now?"
"Might as well." Tori mutters to me.
"Yeah bring him in." I talk.
"Let me go get him." Lola speaks while walking away.
Me and Tori talk for a about five minutes until Lola knocks on the door opening it.
Along side of her I see a boy who look right around our age. He seem to be around six feet and had curly deep brown locks. He was quite attractive but that wasn't the point.
How much was this gonna cost?
