Slow down kev I can't run that fast I say as Kevin pulls my arm towards the park, I've been friends with Kevin since diapers that's my day one, come on nai let's go he yelled.

Idk why he was in a rush but we finally got to the park, I saw a big group of people Kevin slowed down and started walking towards the group he let go of my hand and left me in the middle of the group so everyone was looking at me including him.

That's when I saw ash her and Kay are always on and off, their relationship is kinda toxic but it's not my place to say anything, she comes up to me and hardly pushed me into a puddle of mud that was made yesterday from all the rain.

I look up in shock, ash got closer to my face and whispers "this is what happens when u go near my man" she says as she laughs, I look over at Kevin who's laughing with her my heart broke how could he do that to me, everyone was laughing I was so embarrassed I got up and ran home.

When I got home I heard my mom and dad yelling, there was glass on the floor clothes shoes ect. But it all went silent when I heard a big slap then all you heard was my mom crying and my dad apologizing.

This is why I spend my time with Kevin he was my escape, he was my only friend because I was too shy, but now it seems like im all alone.

I layed in my bed looking at the ceiling as tears came out my eyes, why would he do this I haven't done anything to him, maybe I'm the problem. I feel so alone I can't even depend on my parents, my mom is a drugie just like my dad so I barley spoke to them and when I did it would always become an argument and that would lead into me being slapped.

I picked up my phone to see a lot of notifications.

I explained what happened to my aunt but I left out what happened with Kevin because I didn't want her to call his mom and make it a big problem, so I just told her about my mom and dad arguing.

She told me she'll handle it, after the call I felt tired so I took a nap, that ain't last too long tho bc I was woken up my my mom shaking me, Anais get the fuck up did u call cps huh u want them to take u away, what?? Mom I promise I didn't.

As I was going to speak again my aunt came in the room nai baby get ur stuff she said, I got up and packed my stuff.

No Maya u not taking my child, just because u can't have kids don't mean u gotta take mine my mom yelled at my aunt.

That night I ended up moving with my auntie Maya to Massachusetts,but even tho I knew this was going to be a new beginning my kind could only think about one person
