"Ryah wake up let's go get some breakfast" tayshon said while throwing pillows at me

I sit up on the bed and throw the remote at his head
"Where we goin?" I said grabbing him for support to get out the bed

"Chilllll it's a surprise"he said smiling

I love tay , I loved him all my life but maybe if we get deep with our feelings it'll fuck up our entire friendship and I don't want that but I feel so attached to him

"I just want some chicken and waffles" i said walking Into the bathroom

I grab my phone and see no text or missed calls from Kareem he must not give a fuck about what he did to me .

As I'm brushing my teeth I see that he posted a pic at a club that meerah work at I'll call her later and ask about him

"I hope you know I'm not dressing up"i said looking at tay while he sat on the bed waiting for me

"I don't expect you to , you pretty either way" he said walking out so I can get dressed

I reach in my drawer and grab some sweat pants and a threw on my hoodie walked in the living room and put my slides on grabbed my purse and we left out.

As we walk to the car I can't help but wonder why tay always run to me whenever I call . Is he desperate? Or do he actually love me ?

I walk up to the passenger side and reach to open the door and feel an instant sting on my hand , I look over and it's tayshon pinching me.

"Ion know what that nigga had goin on but you don't touch no doors when you wit me and you know this" he said pulling the door open

I look at him and get a tingle in my stomach bitch this can't be butterflies ....really butterflies ??? It's no way he got me like this

I don't even look at him I just nod my head and get in the car and wait for him to pull off .
About 45mins later we pull up at this brunch place it looks so familiar I just can't put a finger on it

"You don't remember this place do you ?" Tayshon said as he closes the car door for me

"I knew I been here before I just can't remember" I said as I looked around then something catches my eye and I remember where we are.

"Oh shit this use to be ms.patsies diner" i said as we walked inside

We use to come her a lot when we was younger I'm surprised how much it changed it's a lot less money hungry bitches around

"Yeah you know her son finally was able to retire her , haven't seen her in years tho" he said

"Awww I feel bad I forgot all about her , remember when she use to buy us candy baskets and we would have to sneak and eat it whenever we came here with tory" i said as I glanced around the diner

I don't speak about tory much it hurts to think about him as someone who couldn't make it this far with us I don't even talk to him about my mom , it haunts me to see her that way after burying her first born child.

"Damn tory he was the—-"

"Table for 2?" The waiter said cutting tayshon off

We nod our head and follow the waiter to the table and we order the exact same thing we would order as kids

I pull out my phone and check and see if Kareem would at least text an apology or check on me but nothing and it just makes me feel even more worthless.

"Sa'ryah , that crumb ass nigga don't deserve you , you know that right ?" Tayshon said while staring at my face

I'd hate to let it be known but I don't need a your too good for him speech right now I just wanna know why I didn't get an explanation from this nigga yet
