Disclaimer: Y'all remember that time I owned the rights to RWBY and the Flash. No? Me neither.
Finally, after five thousand years, I've returned.
Third-Person Pov:
Y/n looks at what is most definitely a news helicopter. And keeps his fist high in the air as he channels the Speedforce through it. He looks at the pile of what used to be Amazo. Then he looks at the helicopter again as it starts to land. Once the helicopter lands, Y/n puts his hand down and looks around the plaza as he racks his memories of how it looked before the breach. After a few deep breaths, he takes off. In a matter of seconds, the entire area is rebuilt. With his tasks complete, Y/n looks, and points directly at the camera as lightning crackles along his arm and his eyes glow beneath his goggles.
"To those of you who lurk in the shadows of the night. Who prey upon those you see as weak. To those of you who think they can outrun justice. Who sit high in the ivory towers you built on a foundation of blood. I only have one thing to say to you," Y/n says, his voice distorted like it's coming out of a broken radio. "Who's next," he says as he flares his aura to the maximum. Moments later, he vanishes in a blinding explosion of light.
All who watch the broadcast feel a chill run up and down their spines at the Flash's words, and those within the city of Vale, even those miles away from the improvised battlefield, can feel the raw power radiating off of him. To those who can sense aura, the roaring blaze that is the Flash's spirit feels comforting, like sitting next to a fireplace with a blanket draped across one's shoulders, or a hug from an old friend, or a reassuring pat on the back when you're scared.
Up in a ship floating high above Vale, in the seclusion of his office, General Ironwood sits at his desk and stares at the screens in front of him. One has a blurry photo of the Flash; another is playing his encounter with Zoom, and a third, his escape from Atlas. And the largest is playing the news. Ironwood's right eye twitches as he clenches his jaw. His fingers are interlocked as he rests his chin atop his hands.
Ironwood lowers his hands after a long silence broken only by the humming of his mechanical limbs. "He has the power to destroy the city in the blink of an eye, and Ozpin still insists on trusting him despite having no idea where he's from or who his allegiance is to," he says. The General takes a deep breath. "He's dangerous. Ozpin needs to see that. Or else we'll all pay the price for trusting him when we shouldn't have." Ironwood stands up and begins to walk out of his office. "I need to talk to him, get him to see reason before it's too late."
In his sparsely decorated office, Ozpin also sits at his desk and watches the news. Beside him is his faithful mug. Ozpin removes his glasses and rubs his brow with his other hand. "The council and media are going to have a field day with this," he says.
However, underground unseen by anyone, the hordes of Grimm that were once approaching the city feel the wave of aura before instinctively turning back and scattering like cockroaches.
Back in the comfort of his dorm, Y/n phases off the crushed remnants of his weapons before letting his suit disappear as he heads to the shower to get rid of the blood and dirt all over him. As the hot water washes over him, Y/n sighs in relief as he feels his muscles slowly relax, and the pain from the blows Amazo gave him fades away.
Sometime later, after he feels as clean as a whistle, Y/n turns the water off and steps out of the shower. In the blink of an eye, his hair is dried, and he's standing in the middle of his room while wearing a fresh set of clothes. As he feels the day's excitement catch up to him, Y/n lays down on his bed and falls asleep after wrapping himself in his blankets like a burrito.
Y/n Pov:
I feel the wind in the rain before I open my eyes; thunder assaults my ears, and lightning illuminates the sky enough for me to see the larger blood vessels.
