A/N: mayonnaise went from the escalator to the coffee table. Anyway, this fanfic takes place between 2015-2016 in the Glass Animals HTBAHB era. My pronouns are she/her and they/them, lmk if you have any feedback! ~Shy

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~As I stood in line for the audition, I was reciting what I was going to say about why I should be cast as a character in a local band's music video. The band was Glass Animals. They didn't have that big of a fanbase, but since I've seen them in concert, I thought I would audition. Haters will say I'm weird, but I know that they'll make it big someday.
"NEXT!" Dave, the lead singer, yelled out.
As I stepped up to the stage, I tried to calm myself down but Edmund Iwrin-Singer, or Ed for short, who was sitting down at a desk (and looking hot as usual) had me panicking like crazy.
"Do I look okay?" I wondered.
I had just thrown on a sweatshirt and pyjama pants. The four of them were up there just confusingly staring at me. There was a red couch there behind a messy coffee table. I decided to sit down on the couch and stare at the mayo left open on the table. What seemed to be video game music started playing.
"Uhh... hello?" Ed said as I got out my paper to say why I should be the character in the music video.
"Uhhh... do I read the paper?" I glance at my sloppy handwriting from putting this together at the last second.
"Nope!" Joe Seaward, the drummer, answered.
"You seem like the perfect fit for the video! Weird, decent-looking, perfect." Dave exclaimed.
"Alright, let's get her to hair and makeup," Drew advised as he wanted to go home. They rushed me into the hair and makeup room-place-thingy-whatever-you-call-it and cleared everybody else from the green room out. Sooner or later, I was surrounded by the entire band while they did my makeup for the music video. "Don't you guys have the money to buy a professional makeup crew?" I hesitated, confused about why the band themselves was doing my makeup.
"Oh, we do, it's just we have a perfect vision of what we want to do with it. Er, I have the perfect vision." Ed revealed while looking for the perfect shade of lipstick.
"Whaddya doin'? Looking for lipstick for you to put on for a weird cameo or something?" I teased while Joe was digging for a tape measure to measure my head for a wig cap.
He finally found one and measured. "Medium, medium..." he mumbled as he dug through a box of wig caps until he found one. He gave it to me whilst I put it on my head. Ed finally found the rest of the supplies after the wig was on and everything else was put together. "Aha!" Ed said. He then gave me the liquid lipstick, a bright red colour. After being attacked with bronzer, eyeshadow, and other cosmetic necessities that I didn't know were required for a full face, we were done and ready to shoot the music video! I then looked in the mirror
"Wow... I look-" I said, but was then cut off by Dave.
"YOU LOOK HOT!" he screamed.
"-different... but thanks for the compliment I guess?" I replied.
"YOU'RE WELCOME" Dave then said with a smile on his face.
"Can we just start shooting?" Drew asked, still wanting to leave.
"Dave, stop screaming before I chase you with tea again." Joe threatened
Ed and I was laughing in the corner. I was near to tears because I was laughing so hard
"HEE HEE HEE WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT JOE??!?!?"
"YEAH HAHAHAHA"
"Ed, you were there when it happened."
