The group of friends don't meet up again until their lunch break. Majority of the students were inside, helping themselves to the filling meals provided by the academies. Though some were scattered about the grounds, choosing to eat their lunch in the sunshine. The older instructors are at an empty training ring. Chan, Rina, Jisung and Minho sat in the grass all of them enjoying their meals and chatting quietly while Changbin and Yura are inside the ring, getting in a friendly sparring match before having to return to their duties.
"I can't believe I missed that." Chan and the others were getting updated by Minho about the events that happened this morning.
"The kid was pretty shaken up, but apparently his opponent is pretty well known for his anger issues at their school." Minho bites into his sandwich with a shrug.
Jisung's head lays in his partner's lap, though he's listening to the conversation, his eyes are on the two not far from them in the ring.
"Oh man up, it was just a scratch!" Yura teases Changbin as he complains that her using the weapons on her back is an unfair advantage.
She tilts her head back letting out a genuine laugh. Jisung can't help but watch her as she moves. Their friendship was something he couldn't really describe, starting in an online chatroom when they were kids, it was his own private secret he needed to protect. Their friends questioned it at times, how he knew more about Choi Yura than the rest and he'd just shrug, saying they talk on occasion.
Blades now missing from their holsters, Yura approaches the side where their friends lay. She leans against the bands encasing the ring and calls out to them.
"~Channie oppa~" she sings out to the group. Rina grins into her food as Chan glances in Yura's direction.
"Yes Chookie?" His annoyance is evident on his face but he says nothing as the girl twirls one of her swords in her hand.
"Jessica Rabbit over here–"
"I don't even know who that is!" Changbin calls as he moves to exit the ring, tired and out of breath from losing yet again.
" –wants to eat his lunch. Come spar with me." Her smile is mischievous as she looks at him.
Chan's had his ass handed to him a couple times by Yura, so he already knows how this event is going to turn out. Plus, he was able to make himself comfortable sitting next to the older Choi girl during their lunch break.
"Oh you should! It's been a while since I've seen you two spar!" Rina chimes in, her face looking at Chan with a warm smile making Chan turn into complete putty instantly.
"Okay fine, but no blades. I'm still in recovery." He moves to stand up, patting the healed gunshot wound from a month ago before sliding into the ring.
