part 2: regret

MAJOR TW!!!!!! you've been warned!

(Yellows pov.)

    "Do you really want to know that badly?" Purple asks. I let go of his arm and say hesitately, "i-its the only way I'll know if you're lying about the night jobs-"

     Green looks at purple and shakes his head, no, but purple looked determined to make me trust him. I say, "If you don't feel comfortable, you don't have to tell me-" "no." Purple cuts me off, "if that's the only way you'll trust me I'll tell you..." I reassure him he doesn't need to tell me. he says, "ill tell you, its-" "i- think I already figured it out...." I say, cutting him off.

      "I'm s-sorry I accused you-" green stands up and slaps my face, I deserved that. Purple yells at green for slapping me but I say, "purple, he was right to slap me, I accused you in front of everyone here and-"
     "No!" Purple yells, "even if he had a reason doesn't make it any better that  he slapped you!"

     I honestly never expected purple, out of all people to stand up for me when I couldn't myself. That just rubbed more salt in my wound, especially after I just accused him.
I couldn't believe how stupid I was just now!

      After that we all went to our rooms, no one wanted to talk to me, and I don't blame them. What I did was wrong, and I deserved a punishment. But yet, purple thought otherwise. "Why?"  I couldn't stop asking myself that. I stayed up all night long trying to figure out "why."

      The next day, everyone expect purple was hesitant to talk to me. Purple was the very first to talk to me that morning.

     "Why?" I ask him. Purple looks at me confused, "what do you mean?" I look at him and say, " why did you yell at green for slapping Me?" He was silent for a couple of seconds before saying, " it didn't feel right, you were just trying to protect your friends."

      Purple looked at me, waiting for a response, but I walked away, without saying anything. I mean what was I supposed to say? "oH tHaNk YoU fOr FrEgIvInG mE, iT wOnT hApPeN aGaIn" that just sounds corny.
