I thought it' be quick. I thought it'd be over soon. Oh I had thought wrong. It lasted for what felt like forever. An achy, sharp pain in my stomach. Constant, never wavering, I look down, a dark pool of blood at my knees, staining my clothes. "No! Mum!" I hear Charlotte's voice cry out. I try to turn to see her, but a harsh blow to my back sends me to the floor, my head hitting the concrete with a painful crack. "No! Please don't do this!" Came Charlotte's voice again. "I'm doing it for her own good. Saving her the pain." Rose a rough voice, from somewhere close behind me. "Mum!" I heard Charlotte cry one last time before I hear a shot go off and there's a faint sharp pain in the back of my head. Then everything went black.
