Defying The Emperor

New student

The next morning, you did the usual routine. Brush you teeth, wash your face, get dressed, eat breakfast and drive to school on the limo .

Except this time, you asked your driver to drop you off a couple of blocks before the school gates and said that you would walk there instead for a little morning walk. But the truth is, you didn't want to gain anymore attention towards you by arriving to school in a limo.

As you were walking to school you passed by a trail with cherry blossom trees. It was so beautiful so you decided to take a picture of it.

You continue to walk down the path to school when suddenly a car passes by you and splashes you with water.

You were now SOAKED.

Of course you didnt think much of it because you thought they probably didn't notice you and that there was no point in being mad when you were probably never going to see them again.

When you get to school, you immediately saw Himari and Akashi waiting for you by the entrance. Well, Himari was while she was gripping onto Akashi so he would stay even thought the bell just rung.

Before they even noticed you already saw them you duck your head down so they don't see your face. There wasn't much of a choice either since the only other things you had was your bag.

It seemed to have worked until you get a bit closer to them and Akashi notices.

"Asuka?" Akashi asked.

'Of course Akashi just HAD to notice' you thought.

You turned back slightly to see them both staring at you before you made a run for it.

You ran and ran and ran as fast as you could but of course you didn't last long because Akashi was chasing you and you were shorter and slower than he was.

He grabbed you by the arm and pulled you to him. He pulled a little too hard though because you hit his chest really hard.

As you backed away from him, you suddenly felt awkward because you two were so close to eachother and you're uniform is soaking wet and his was getting wet because of yours.

"Akashi.. you're uniform," you whispered," it's getting wet because of me."

He pulled you away," why are you wet?"

"ASUKA!!" Himari shouted as she ran up to you.

"Are you okay?!? Why are you wet??" She asked frantically.

Now both of them were staring at you awaiting your answer.

"I- Uhm... I got splashed with water by a car on the way here, and I got wet," you answered them while looking down.

"That stupid car," Himari muttered while putting a hand on your shoulder," it's okay though, let's just get you dried up."

As the two girls were walking ahead Akashi just stood there contemplating.

' Doesn't she drive here by car?? Why was she walking?? Was it because she didn't want to bring any attention to her?' he thought.

After a couple of seconds you noticed that Akashi wasn't with you guys. You immediately turn around and see him where you guys were previously standing not moving an inch. He looked like he was in deep thought.

"Akashi!!" You shouted at him to get his attention.

He looked at you, then started walking towards you guys.

"Why were you just standing there??" Himari asked.

"No reason in particular, I guess I just zoned out," he replied.
