After Daisy left for her work the next day, Riya got up and dressed herself . She felt she needed some fresh air, soon she came to the trail near the river for a walk. She suddenly stopped below the bridge, she started to feel shaky even though there was nothing in front of her. She couldn't begin to understand why she felt that way. Suddenly feeling dizzy, and as she was about to fall, she was caught by someone.

The feeling of being in the arms of a handsome man, made Riya feel shy.

"I just felt a little dizzy" she said.

"That's ok. It is very sunny today, maybe you were dehydrated", he replied.

"Hi, my name is Riya", she introduced herself nervously.

"Hi I am Nikhil. It's nice to meet you" he smiled.

She felt very comfortable talking to him that she had seen him somewhere, but  could not remember. Reluctant, to share her past with a stranger, she hid it.

She talked with Nikhil for a while, and didn't even realize it was getting late for her to return home. They both bid their goodbyes and as they were leaving Nikhil felt a sigh of relief.

He turned to see if she had left and then took the hoodie that he hid behind a rock.

Lost in his thoughts about the past. Nikhil came to his apartment. It is the same apartment building  which Riya lives in, in fact Nikhil was her next-door neighbor. He went into his apartment, ate some instant noodles, and we went inside his room. Opening a cupboard  inside the pictures of Riya everywhere. He took a picture of her and kissed it. When can we meet again? he said with a yearning desire.

The next day, he was waiting near his door. He was looking through the peep hole to see if anyone was walking out. When he saw Riya coming out, he opened his door and pretended to be normal. When Riya saw him, she was puzzled for a second.

Looking puzzled Nikhil said," Hi, it was You at the trail yesterday".

Are you my Neighbor?

"Oh My Goodness, that is some hell of a coincidence" he said swiftly before she could even respond .

He looked at her for a response and she shyly said "oh well Yes, that is some coincidence ".

How are you feeling now? He enquired caringly.

I'm good. Thank you for asking.

How are you?

Did you recently move here?

I haven't seen you here?

How long have you been living here? She bombarded him with questions.

Oh My! You do have a lot of questions but since we are neighbors, we can talk some other time.

Right now I'm in a hurry...

I am sorry, will meet again, BYE! he said and left without waiting for her reply.

She stood in the same place where he left her, she felt as though she was waiting to talk to him again.

"His Familiar face" might be, because I may have seen him in the apartment building before the incident, concluded Riya.
