The day Roman found out Santana was pregnant forever changed his life. He got a text from her saying meet me at the park, for the last week she hadn't been very off and he of course noticed it. He waited for her by a tree they always met at when you see her walk up he could tell by her body language something was up. Once she had got close enough he gave her his classic smile before giving her a hug he then pulled away looking down at her "what's wrong?" He asked her he was confused and concerned that she pulled him towards the bench she sat down before pulling him down to so next to her. He waited as they both sat in silence for a few as he gave her space to speak but he was never expecting her to say this sentence to him "I'm pregnant." She said he felt his heart drop he never expected to be a father's this soon but all his worries soon disappeared as he watched the soon to be mother of his child SOB like she never did before the only thing he could do is wrap his arms around her pulling her closer towards him he kept mumbling it's okay everything's okay he didn't know if he was saying it for her or himself. He whispered to her that he's not going anywhere he kept that promise nothing was going to come between him and this baby nobody the only way that he would not be a father to this child is if he was not breathing.

He remembered the night Santana text him was around 11:00 p.m. she had texted him that her whole family knew she was pregnant he was shocked he asked her how it went and if she needed anything he hoped her parents understood and didn't kick her out and disown her he knew that was a fear of hers and he didn't want her biggest fear to come true. He was overjoyed when he found out that her family was more than okay with it of course they were disappointed but they decided to stick by her side no matter what, that's when he knew he had to tell his parents before her parents told his their parents know each other of course. Their dads work together and their moms always hung out they were damn near best friends. He knew he couldn't wait any longer so he decided to get out of bed go to his parents room and knock on the door waiting for respond he knew they were up that his dad just got home from work he waited for a come in before he entered the room. His parents were both laying down in the bed watching TV he knew this bomb he was about to drop on them could potentially changed his whole relationship with his parents he loved his parents he was the youngest and they straight up adored him and all their kids. He stood by the door as his heart raced his mom looked at him confused. "Are you okay baby?" She asked. His dad looked over at him when she asked the question they both waited patiently for him to answer as they could see something was wrong with their son as if he was nervous to say something. He cleared his throat before rubbing his face "I have to tell you guys something." He said looking up at his parents they look back at him waiting. "Santana is pregnant." He said almost like a whisper. "She's what?" His mom asked "Pregnant." He repeated himself his dad looked at him with the frown "How?" He asked he looked at his dad. "I swear we were always careful, we're both surprised. I'm sorry y'all, I didn't expect this but I promise I'm gonna be there." He said as his dad nodded "Damn right you are." He said as they didn't believe in deadbeats around here. "Is she keeping the baby?" His mom asked. He quickly nodded "Of course." He said from that day out his parents didn't do nothing but respect his decisions and be there for him ,Santana and the baby.

The day Santana came over he was surprised for the last few weeks they haven't really been boyfriend and girlfriend type more just friends with the baby on the way so she came over late at night it took him back. But by the state she was in he knew all she needed right now is a friend and he promised himself that's what he was going to be a friend. He helped her to his room they sat on his bed and he held her hand and waited for her to talk, the words she said he definitely wasn't expecting. She mumbled she was gay so softly that if it was windy outside he wouldn't be able to catch it. He continued to hold her hand that she explained everything that's going on with her right now the way that she's been outed by someone she goes to school with, the girl she's in love with that rejected her. How their whole relationship was for her he didn't understand but he understood it wasn't her fault that she felt these things and he wasn't going to hold it over her head. He decided all they needed to be was friends and amazing parents to their unborn baby that's all it took. Her sexuality had nothing to do with anything she was still the same Santana he knew and he was going to love her just the same well maybe not the same but he wasn't going to treat her any different.

From that day on out they became the best of friends he was at every doctor's appointment for their baby they decided not to know the gender of their baby until the birth they had picked two names one for a boy one for a girl once they were sure it was only one baby. He remember it like it was yesterday it was around 3:00 a.m. on a hot July night when everybody was calling his phone up and his mom and dad came and woke him up telling him that Santana was in labor he never knew he can move that fast he jumped up quickly not changing anything before rushing to her. 4 hours later they're beautiful baby girl was born he sobbed once the nurse put her in his arms he could be any more happier his baby girl Kai'lani
