The sun was rising over the tree filled hills as Amber ran thought the forest. Her breathing was heavy as she ran into the white porch of her house. The Cruz Mansion wasn't like any typical British mansion, it was fully white with red roof tiles, it also had large pillars that gave the house Mediterranean feel. She stopped and tried to steady herself with her hands on her knees. "Amber!" Her mother called "Where are you?"
"Out side on the back porch," she called back while straightening up, her breathing now steady.
"O there you are," Olivia said "Have you been out on a run again?"
"Yes it helps with you know, stress," she said as she run her thin hand though her hair.
"I know it is hard sweetie, but it is for the greater good"
"I know," Amber replied gazing into the forest.
"Go get dressed I'm taking you to Diagon Ally," Olivia said with a smile, "we've got to get your school supply's."
"Noooo," Amber replied dramatically as her mother walked back into house.

Amber gasped as she watched the bricks part reviling Diagon Ally. "Wow," she said.
"Told you you'd like it," said Olivia. Amber just stood in amazement 'how are these buildings not falling over,' she thought. The narrow over hanging ally was full with witches and wizards of all kinds, all shrouded in black robes. "Well there's Potage's cauldron shop and there's Quality Quidditch Supplies, we don't need to go into Potage's because you already have a cauldron, but I take it you want to go into the quidditch shop?" Olivia said looking at how Amber longed to go into the store.
"Please," Amber said and started to make her way through the crowd towards the shop. As she walked into the shop her mouth hung open, little quidditch players on brooms raced around the room all showing off their teams colours. The walls lined with shining posters and brooms hung from the ceiling, Amber smiled as she ran her hand over a quaffle, she was zapped out of her amazement when her mother started talking.
"Common lets go get you some new gloves," she said.

Flourish & Blotts is an average sized shop that has every book for sale you could dream of. The books where pilled to the ceiling in a array of different coloured leather, they all looked as though they would fall at any second but none ever did. Amber strode into the crowded shop looking intently at the books, trying to find ones she had not read. "We only need one book for Hogwarts and I think I need to go ask someone where it is," Olivia said as she was very unprepared to rummage.
"Can I have a look around please?" Amber inquired.
"Sure, go ahead," Olivia said while walking thither into the shop trying to get people's attention. Amber started to wonder over to the ancient runes section when she collided with a girl with crazy curly light brown hair. "I'm so sorry," Amber started as she bent down to pick up the mass collection of the girl's books, that she had carefully balanced in her arms only seconds earlier.
"O its ok," the girl replied "I wasn't really watching where I was going anyway." Amber smiled and reached for a purple bound book 'The Secret Life's of Centaur's' "I loved this book," Amber exclaimed "It was so interesting."
"Was it, I only chose it because it told you more than what they eat." Amber laughed "Well I would hope so otherwise it's got 900 pages of dribble. I'm Amber by the way." She said while picking up the last book.
"Hermione," she said "Are you new here? It's just I've never seen you around."
"Fresh from Spain," Amber said while smiling.
"But you don't have a Spanish accent, it sounds British," Hermione questioned.
Amber laughed "Well both of my parents were brought up in Britain and we were very antisocial in Spain so I didn't pick it up." Before Hermione had chance to question her some more Olivia came over with a very very large book.
"Merlin Mum is that the book I needed, what's it on?" Amber asked her eyes wide.
"Yes and it's an encyclopaedia on ingredients for potions," Olivia sighed, "and it weighs a ton," she added as she stood it on the floor. "O where are my manners I'm Olivia Cruz."
"Hermione Granger."
"I hate to rush you Amber but we better be going," Olivia said.
"Ok see you around Hermione," Amber said waving.
"Bye it was nice meeting you," Hermione replied.

When they walked out of the shop, there new very large and heavy purchase in hand they drifted over towards Eeylops owl emporium. Its purple sign becomes wondering visitors towards they large array of owls. Amber smiled as she ran her hand over the cages she had always wanted an owl of her own. She stopped mid-pace as she saw a beautiful barn owl, it's head tilted as she moved towards it. "Wow," she said "aren't you pretty," she asked the owl was she stroked its feathers though the bars.
"He is a pretty owl, is that Draco over there?" Her mother asked. Amber tore herself away from the owl and scanned the busy ally till her attention was court by a platinum ball of hair.
"Yes it is," Amber said as Draco turned around. "Draco!" Amber called while madly waving her arms. When she had gained his attention he smiled and made his way over to her, to Ambers surprise he had his mother with him.
"Hello Mrs Malfoy how are you?" Amber said.
"I'm quite well Amber," Narcissa said while scanning over what Amber was wearing "Merlin child why are you dressed like a muggle."
Amber looked down at what she was wearing, she knew it wasn't very witch like but she couldn't help it, she liked muggle clothes far too much. She loved her bright pink Doc Martins and her black muscle top she was wearing that said 'I love you to the moon and back', it was just who she is. But instead of telling Mrs Malfoy this she just replied "O I didn't realise." Narcissa just nodded courtly.
Olivia gave Narcissa a sharp look and changed the subject, "We were just heading over to Madam Malkins to get Amber robes, do you care to join us?"
"I'm afraid I do not shop there anymore, they let anyone in, I proffer somewhere more exclusive," Mrs Malfoy replied with a sickly sweet smile. Amber raised her eyebrows at Draco he shrugged in response.
"I suppose you would. Well we have to be off," Olivia said "Goodbye Draco say hello to your father for me."
"Goodbye, I'll see you on the train Draco," Amber said and Draco nodded in reply. When Amber and her Mother where away from them Amber turned to her, "What a Snob."

"I know she hasn't changed from when she was your age; she might be a nice person if she removed that stick out from her..."

"Mother," Amber said laughing "let's go get my school robes."
