Anti-Romantic [Yeonbin]

Interrogation

It's just for a few hours

It won't hurt if you don't think about it..

It will be your last year in this hell hole...

It can be worse than this..right?

Yeonjun repeated all those things in his head as he sobbed trying to cover most of his body. He faced another beating from his father, this time it was for taking too long to get him more alcohol. Yeonjun's father or Min Yeonseok wasn't always like this, he used to be very loving with a smile constantly on his face and made sure to do anything to make his family happy. That was until the loss of his wife in an accident caused by a drunk driver. It's ironic because the man resorted to alcohol to help him cope with his pain but it spiraled into a crippling addiction. He began to beat his children blaming them for the accident wishing they had died instead of his wife. At first this wasn't too bad for Yeonjun but once his brother left, he was basically beaten weekly. Yeonjuns only escape was the streets  but it wasn't the high life he makes it seem. He was always filled stress and anxiety of being caught by the police or worse is father...which led him to develop his own bad habits and addictions...

Three hours later

Yeonjun woke up on the cold wooden floor a feeling he has sadly gotten used to. He slowly pushes himself up and stumbled to his room. He sat in front of his mirror cleaning the small cuts struggling while his hands shook as he tried not to cry...once he finished he grabbed his the pack of cigarettes, opening his window making his way on the roof sitting down as he stares as at the sky grabbing one cigarette placing it against his lips, inhaling the nicotine in hopes to calm his thoughts.

Soobin sat down at his lab table, he hates to even admit but he was worried for his asshole lab partner he hasn't been at school in 5 days. His thoughts were interrupted by Mrs.Park going to his desk leaning against it as she slid him a pass face down. "Hey sweetie you were called to the office and I've been told you should bring your things with you." She said softly. Soobin nodded packing his things wondering why he was called to the office, it's not like his mom texted him to tell him that she was picking him up from school early. As he left the classroom and traveled the now empty halls his stomach churned...the feeling getting worse as he looks at the front office door. When he opened it he was greeted by two police officers. "I believe you are Choi Soobin?" One asked, Soobin gulped as he nodded, "perfect, now if you don't mind, may you follow us." The other said more of a statement than a question. Soobin just nodded again following them into their car  gripping his backpack tightly as they traveled to the department. He began wondering why the hell the police wanted him. He began to think of every possible thing he had done wrong, could he get arrested for cursing out that  5 year old on Minecraft a couple of years ago. 

The officers led Soobin to one of the interrogation rooms "Alright son now that we are here, I need to ask you a few questions then I will see if we'll need you from more okay?' Soobin chewed at his lip as he nodded, the officer hummed "well before I can do any questioning I must ask you do you know a boy named Min Yeonjun?" Soobin's eyes widened as he nodded "yes sir! Do you know anything about him?" He said eagerly quickly stopping his response,  why he cared so much about the male that definitely wouldn't feel the same if the roles were reversed. The officer hummed at his response and he nodded "I do now follow me just so we can confirm we are dicussing the right person." The two made their way to the area of tempered glass the officer press a button and stated for the lights to be turned on. "Now Soobin tell me which one is Yeonjun" he said softy as the room showed 5 males. Soobin scanned to find Yeonjun but he met with sharp feline eyes, but he had the same pale skin and pouty lips, as Yeonjun if he was younger he definitely would be the males clone. His eyes get to the end of the line and takes notice to the familiar raven head he hummed pointing to him "that one is Yeonjun." The officer nodded as he looked at his partner, soon the three of them go back to table to sit.

 The officer sat in front of Soobin, reading his rights before he began "well Soobin, I first want to say you are not in trouble . We got a call this morning that Yeonjun poisoned his father's alcohol and when we questioned him he stated that you could defend him since he bought it from you." Soobin eyes widen when he listened wondering why the others father would think his own son would poison him maybe he was worse at home. No Soobin thats fucking crazy, He shook his head to concentrate. "Well sir, I can attest that he bought the alcohol from me and we recently found out that most of the packs from last week were close to expiring. So I believe that would why his father is feeling ill"The officer nodded writing down what Soobin said "is that all the information you have?" Soobin nods "I don't really speak to Yeonjun or say we're much of friends so I don't have a reason to lie." 

The officer raising an eyebrow hummed as he nodded "well if you can have your mother send us a copy of the alcohol being expired and Yeonjun's purchase that will be a great help but other than that you're free to go..."Soobin nodded as he bowed before being escorted out to the lobby. "Oh Soobin" his mother ran to her son pulling him into a tight hug "I was worried you were hurt" she said holding him tightly. Soobin hugged her back frowning "it's okay mama, everything is fine...I'm fine" he said sinking in the hug closing his eyes. Before opening them to see Yeonjun staring at them noticing that he looked away when they made eye contact. The male who was basically Yeonjun's twin went up to him gently checking Yeonjun's face for bruises. Soobin pulled away from his mom, "I'll be right back" he said to his mother  making his way to Yeonjun, "hey..uh are you okay?" he asked looking at the male noticing that his face was puffy. Yeonjun kept his eyes on the ground as he nodded "yeah..yeah I'm fine, uh thanks back there" he said softly before grabbing his bag and walked out with the older male . Then it finally clicked in Soobin's mind, Yeonjun did mention he had a brother that must be him. Soobin watched them leave as he was drawn out of his trance, when he heard his mother call his name. "Coming" He said softly he said grabbing his bag and he ran off to her car.,,
