Yawn! I got up from bed and went to take my bath. I took my bath and brushed my teeth. I came out with a towel tied around my chest and my hair was wet. I brushed my hair and packed it in one ponytail leaving two at each sides. I went to my closet and brought out a green crop top with a blue jeans. I wore an adidas canvas and wore my wristwatch. I carried my handbag and the book i was reading and went downstairs.
Good morning mum, i greeted my mum as i went downstairs.
Morning, how was your night? She asked.
Good thanks, i said and sat down.
So did you prepare for your test? She asked. I took a sip from my tea and then i answered her.
Yes but i will still study in the library, i said and dipped my bread in the tea.
Okay, she said.
Where is Jenny, i asked.
Am here, she said and rushed downstairs. Bye mum, bye Alice she said and was about to leave when I stopped her.
Wait Jenny. Won't you eat breakfast? I asked.
No i am already late, she said and left. I finished eating and i left. I entered the car and the driver drove off. I arrived at school and i went in. I went to the library and saw Smith there. I ignored her and i went to sit down.
So you can't greet, right? She asked and I still ignored her. I carried my book and started reading. She came to my front and removed the book from my hand and tossed it away. I stood up and looked at her.
What is your problem? I asked her.
Oh my problem is you. And have this at the back of your mind, you will pay for what you did in the park, she said and picked up her book and left. I sighed and went to carry my book to continue reading. I finished reading and i went to the class. I went to my seat and the teacher entered.
Okay class. Today is your test and am going to separate you,so everyone get up, he said and we all stood up. Jane was sent to seat at the front seat. Liam was sent to seat at the back. Then i sat in the middle and Smith sat at my side. We began the test and it was surprisingly easy.
Pens up, the teacher said and came to collect our test papers. When he collected all the papers, we were sent home. I was about to go when the teacher called me.
I need you to go across the road and buy me red pen to mark your note, I nodded and left. I looked left and right and saw no car so i decided to pass. When i bought the pen, i was about to cross the road and i still looked left and right. I crossed the first half of the road and i was crossing the other side when a car with speed hit me and i fell with blood rushing from my head and stomach.

The sound of my alarm woke me up and i went to the restroom. I took my bath and brushed my teeth. I cane out with a towel tied around my waist. I went to the closet and brought out a blue T-shirt and a black jeans. I wore a white canvas and a black wristwatch. I carried my bag and went downstairs. I didn't see anyone when i went to the dining table. I sighed and i began to eat. When i was done, i left the house. I entered my car and zoomed off. I arrived at school and i went to class. I started reading and after a while, i put my head on the table and i didn't realize when i fell asleep. When i woke up, i saw everyone already in the class. I continued reading before the teacher entered. After he separated us, he gave us our papers and we began. After some minutes he said" pens up, and he collected our papers. He then gave us permission to leave but he stopped Alice. I listened to their conversation and when Alice left, i followed her. I saw her cross the street and she was about to cross back when a car zoomed with speed and ran her over. I left where i was hiding and ran to meet her. A lot of people gathered and i saw her bleeding.
Alice, Alice, Alice, wake up; i said while shaking her. The ambulance arrived and we went to National Hospital. They took her to the IUC and were operating on her. The nurses brought her belongings and i used her phone to call her mum.

📱 Okay am on my way; she said and cut the call. The nurse came out from the ICU and i stopped her.
What happened to Alice? Will she be alright? I asked.
She lost a lot of blood and we need someone to donate; she said.
I will donate for my daughter; Alice's mum came and the doctor led her to one of the rooms. She came out and she came to me.
Why did she cross the road? She asked.
The teacher sent her to buy red pen, i said and she narrowed her gaze at me.
Pen? What will he be doing with red pen? Don't they have at school? She asked and I became thoughtful.
You have a point. We need to investigate this; i said.
We are going to find out who tried to kill my daughter; she said. We waited for some while then we saw nurses rushing to the IUC. I stopped one of them and I asked her what is going on.
She is having a heart attack and we need to attend to her so please excuse me; she said and left. Alice's mum started crying and i held my tears because i don't want to cry in front of her but my eyes couldn't handle it and a tear fell from my eye lid.
