A busy day...that is what lied a head for bani and she knew that everyday was busy but she handled it well,as she was about to walk out veer appeared in front of her she sighed
"What do you want Veeranshu"she said looking at his smirking face
"Lunch just me and you sweetheart"veer said smirking that nickname brought back lots of memories bani has not heard it in almost 6 years and the worst part is,her feelings just came running back,she didn't hate veer she could never not even if she tried the man has permanently left a mark in her heart,but will she even admit that she still loves him? Hell no not after how much he hurt her that day

Flashback
Bani was on her way to tell veer about her pregnancy she was happy,this baby was a symbol of their love as she entered she saw clothes laying around,her heart started racing she followed the trail and it ended at veers door she slowly opened the door only to see him in bed with another girl,and the girl was much thinner then her,bani felt tears running down her face she looked at veer dead in the eyes while he smirked
"How could you I thought we were in love "bani whispered she was to shocked to shout
"What...you really thought I fell for you...no sweetheart the 'love' you thought we had was all in your head"bani stared at him not being able to form words she nodded then smile wiping her tears
"Well then...I wish you the best"she said as she turned and walked away
the promises were all lies

the love making was just sex

she told him about her past and he consoled her that was probably also just as fake as everything else

Veer left bani broken that day she didn't even get a chance to tell him she's pregnant,after everything she promised herself to never fall in love again to never tell anyone her secrets,veer was the second man to break her heart after her father
Flashback end

Bani wiped the tear coming from her eyes and took a deep breath
"It's just lunch...nothing can happen and besides he can't love me"she reminded herself as memories flooded her head she made her way to the door and got in her car and drove to work

Anika was finally done with the house she had to present it in 2 days so she had to work harder today and tomorrow but she was always good with her job she loved drawing ever since she was younger,and her father always supported her wishes...but anika never knew what her sister went through while she had the best father ever,she didn't know about bani being at the boarding school she didn't know about bani getting hurt,yeah bani introduced veer to her and came to her when she was pregnant but that was the only bit if bani's past she knew.
Anika was showered with gifts when she was younger she celebrated her birthdays with big parties and gifts she was happy as a young girl..bani on the other hand had the complete opposite the only person bani sent letters to was Vansh their older brother,and he always sent bani gifts on their birthday,bani was Vansh's and still is today

The day was getting closer their father was coming in a few days and only Anika and Bhavya knew that as they didn't want bani to leave to they didn't tell her or gauri to know because they knew gauri would tell bani and then bani would leave...he was coming in 2 days along with their brothers,gauri and her father doesn't have the best relationship between bani was gauri's gaurdian angel

It was now lunch and veer told bani to meet him at lux restaurant at 12:00 at bani arrived there and sat with veer at the table
"We need to have a proper conversation sweetheart"veer said taking a sip of his coffee "why didn't you tell me you were pregnant"bani looked at him with one eyebrow raised and sat forward
"I was that day I came to see you... remember the day to told me that everything we ever had was fake and slept with that blonde women"bani said looking at veer with her violet eyes,she noticed a tad bit of guilt and shame in veers eyes
"But anyways...I'm hungry"and as she said that the food came the waiter never took his eyes off bani,but one glare from veer was enough for him to look down and nod at them walking away bani started eating
"How did you know Irene was ill"veer asked
"After I gave birth to her they noticed her heart was slower then what it was supposed to be so they started running tests and found out that she has a heart condition and said she only has 1 and a half years to live so long story short she lived that 1 and a half years to the fullest she was happy"bani said with a slight smile on her face remembering her daughter.
Irene was the reason bani didn't take her life the day veer cheated on her

Irene was the reason bani is still breathing today

Bani lived for Irene and she still does even though she died 2 years ago

They both ate and spoke about different topics for a moment veer saw his old bani and he knew he had to try again
"Will you ever give me another chance"veer asked bani looked at him
"I dont know you broke my heart along with my trust and the worst part is you took my virginity and then left even after I tried calling you everyday"bani said
"I know,I was immature that time and had a title to uphold"veer said
"Yeah and I have self respect and dignity"bani spat back feeling kinda angry she took money out of her purse and put it on the table
"My side of the bill...don't talk to me until I'm ready because I have to think about this"bani said leaving and veer sighed he needed bani in his life...
