The adventurous detective who handled the Johansson's case (Chloe's parents case), his name was Williams.

He didn't believe that the Johansson's case was an accident (but we all know he was wrong) but classified it as murder.

He started looking for clues to the case (who in his right senses will go to look for clues and evidences on a case he himself closed, anyways) and evidences that might point to the "killer".

He started off by going to the crime scene. He found nothing. (why do detectives like going to search for clues in the middle of the night, huh?). He went through the victims belongings, he found nothing.

Then one last item remained. The victims phones. He went through the recordings of the phone. And he found something. On the day of the "accident" , it turns out that Chloe's mum was on a call when she screamed "NICOLAE" and the rubber tyre screeched and a crash was heard.

The detective was puzzled, who was this NICOLAE and what does he have to do with the Johansson's murder?

But, Williams didn't investigate further but concluded that the person of name "Nicolae" was the murderer.

He wasn't trained at all. He got there through connections and was not trained at all.

He finished high school and told his father who was a governor that he wanted to be a detective.

And his father just wanted to do everything his son asked. So he dropped him in a police agency. No training, nothing. And somehow, every case seemed to fall on his hands. He kept doing this for 10 years. Just arresting people, trying them and somehow finding them guilty.

And he was stupid and hasty enough to go to tell the Farrs (who was Hattie's parents) that the name of the murderer was Nicolae.

The Farrs were puzzled and asked the conclusive evidence and even argued that this had been ruled out as an accident. But while the Farrs were saying this Williams said nothing but just left.

He was on his way to find out who Nicolae was.

Unknowingly to him, someone was watching him. That person was Jeff, one of Williams' enemies that had come to take revenge on Williams for arresting him for no apparent reason and was sent to jail for 5 years.

Two days later, Williams was found dead his apartment with foam in his mouth. The other detectives thought it was suicide because they couldn't find any conclusive evidence that he was killed.

The Farrs thought they were in danger and they relocated to Creek town to avoid being supposedly killed.

But unfortunately, that Creek town was where danger residing but did danger reside there indeed.

*Yeah, I know this chapter is short but just continue reading*

(You guys should have remembered Creek town, if not go back to Chapter 3).
