"This forest sure is scary, what if I was to trip and land in a pit of snakes and the snakes all killed and ate me which would then cause the Raikage to declare war on every snake in the elemental nation and would then spark the fourth shinbi world war" said Omoi.

"SHUT UP OMOI!!!" Yelled Karui before she threw a rock at him, with him barely dodging it by leaning to the side quickly which made a very audible snap.

"Damnit Karui, what if when you threw that rock it landed on a large pile of explosive notes and caused a explosion destroying a large chunk of the forest and would then cause Konoha to be angry and kill us but Raikage-Sama finds out and declares war on Konoha which would then destroy the world" said Omoi.

"Omoi stop being so over dramatic, that's not going to help" said Yugito while holding Karui back from murdering Omoi.

Behind said teammate a massive explosion was seen and heard, they all quickly took off and raced to the source and when they arrived they saw a massive ravine.

"Oh Karui... now you've really done it" said Omoi

"I ONLY THREW THE ROCK I DIDN'T MEWN TO CAUSE A EXPLOSION!!" She yelled while starting to cry in fear.

"...you've got to be kidding me..." said Yugito trying to process this.

Nibi was covering her mouth from how hard she was laughing, normally she'd tell her container that this was Kurama's chakra but she found it to funny and was wondering how long it'll last before they realize it wasn't Karui's doing.

Naruto coughed up a massive amount of blood while trying to keep Kuramas chakra in, he felt it slowly overpowering his own. He tried to draw more chakra but he couldn't pull any from his chakra coils.

He slowly looked down at his stomach and his eyes widened in absolute horror at what he saw, the Eight Trigrams seal was heavily damaged, 1/5 of the seal was simply gone because of the seal that Orochimaru used. Not only that but on the outside of it was a five elemental seal which disconnected Naruto from Kurama and completely ruined his chakra control.

"D-damnit... I... I need to activate" he said before coughing up more blood "my yin seal... To remove.. the poison and get more chakra in my system..".

He slowly brought his hand up but before he could bring it to his forehead a kunai pierced his hand pinning it to the ground.

Naruto let out a low growl in pain and he looked up to see a squad of Anbu land before him, except all of them had blank masks with the kanji for Root on their foreheads.

"Target acquired" said one of the root ninja as he went to grab Naruto and bring him back to his master but before he could a tanto went through the back of the neck of one of them.

The now three root ninja turned but before they could react the figure threw a kunai which went right into the skull of one of them before he turned and used his tanto to stab the other through the skull going in through the eye socket.

The leader of the root squad went to move in but Naruto had just enough strength to grab his leg and hold him long enough for the figure to then slash at his throat killing him.

Once all the root ninja fell to the ground all of their bodies exploded into blue flames which quickly burned them until there's nothing left but ash.

Naruto slowly looked up and was shocked to see that the person who saved him was Sai.

"S-sai?" He said weakly looking up at the only member of team 7 besides Kakashi that he liked.

"Hai, are you alright Naruto-san?" He said kneeling down before him.
