After staying for some time with Mama and Happy's aunt I headed back to Charming.

I did what I was gonna do before I headed home unpacked and started cleaning my dirty clothes till I heard Happy's bike.

I went to the living room where I saw him looking at the manila envelope that holds papers that could change his and my life.

"sit let's talk" I say

he looks up at me before doing what I asked

"I want you to be completely honest with me" I say sitting across from him.

"alright" he says

"do you regret everything that has occurred and happened between us now that things are getting more real?" I asked

"no" he says

"you didn't think about it Happy." I say

"why should I?" he asked

"you've been ignoring me way before I started ignoring you. you've stopped doing things I've asked you to do. you instead opt to go drinking and shooting the shit with the guys while I'm trying to get help with the remainder of my pregnancy." I say

"I'm sorry" he says

I shook my head.

"I am sorry." he says

"no, you do not cause if you was sorry you'd not even done the shit in the first place." I say

"what is in the envelope?" he asked

"divorce papers" I say

"you want to divorce me?" he asked

"There is no need to continue this between us if you rather spend your time with the guys and not home with me as you did after coming home from prison," I say

he sat up and looked at me fully.

"What I have done recently has been total bullshit and I should have done it. but I will not sign those papers" he says

"Then we'll be separated til you sign those papers. cause I'm done being hurt, I'm sick and tired of you ignoring me when you claim that you are "busy" with the club handling things for them when you're just getting shit faced. you stopped talking with me about our son's name, and you've stopped doing things I had asked you to. you quit the nursery just to go fucking drinking with the guys. so just end this marriage Happy cause I'm not gonna put Dezi at risk anymore for your bullshit" I say

he stood up grabbed the envelope and looked at me before walking off.

 I watched as he struck a match to the envelope and burned the papers.

I closed my eyes and laid my head back covering my face with my hands.

"I'm not giving up on us. I will find the shit I've done and I'll do better" he says 

I dropped my hands lifted my head and looked at him and said nothing.

he squatted down before me and took hold of my hands.

"I shouldn't have ignored you, I should've put the club guys over you and Dezi. I had wanted this journey with you and I'm fucking it up which I am really truly sorry for. but I will not divorce you and leave you alone when it's not what you really want."  he says

"its sad that I had to get divorce papers to have you realize the horseshit you've been doing. I mean that day I headed to Mama and your aunt's I walked out the fucking clubhouse in tears. but you didn't notice because you were too damn busy with the guys." I say

"no more," he says

"you can't tell me you will not continue this. cause I know as well as you do its a lie." I say

He shook his head.

I got up off the chair I was sitting in and walked off to get space. he followed me and carefully pulled me back into his arms.

"I know you don't believe me and it hurts. but it's not half as much as pain as I had caused you here lately by ignoring you and not doing the things you asked me to do. But I will fix this and I will make things between you and I better." he says

"I will believe it when I see it" I say before I removed his hands and headed for the nursery.
