It was Eddie's first day working on the 118 and Ashley was excited, finally an extra pair of helping hands. That same morning Eddie and her were both asleep in his bed. She had offered to stay over the night before so he wasn't alone on his first day.

"Honey, you gotta wake up." She felt Eddie shake her lightly.

"Nooo." She groaned rolling over.

"We have work." He reminded her.

She grabbed his hand. "Don't leave. You're so warm." She smiled.

"Come on." Eddie then scooped her up out bed and she opened her eyes meeting his face. "Good morning sunshine." He brought her to her feet and Ashley groaned as she stretched her body.

"Yeah, sure." She yawned as I walked into the bathroom, "shit." Ashley mumbled.

"What's wrong?" Eddie popped his head in the bathroom.

"I forgot to tell my brother I was spending the night at your place." She showed him her phone with dozens of text messages from Buck.

"He'll live. I'm gonna go wake up Chris." Eddie walked out and Ashley texted Buck letting him know she was alive.

Dumbass 🐻: ASHLEY
Dumbass 🐻: YOUR SCARING ME

My worst Nightmare ⚡️: I'm alive don't worry

Dumbass 🐻: you scared the crap out of me.

My worst Nightmare ⚡️: I spent the night at Eddies so calm down.

Dumbass 🐻: Tell me next time.

Her brother was very overprotective even though she was only one year younger than him. Ever since Buck and her had found out about Doug their sisters ex husband who abused her, Buck had watched Ashley like a hawk.

"Babe! You coming." Eddie called and she shut off her phone.

"Yup!" Ashley responded placing her phone on the bed and walking out to where Eddie and Chris were.

"Hi Ash." Chris greeted her while he ate his breakfast.

"Hey bud." Ashley patted his head.

"I'm gonna go get changed, can you get Chris ready for school?" Eddie asked.

"Of course." She smiled.

"Great." Eddie kissed her forehead and walked off.

"Alright Chris, after you finish your breakfast go ahead and brush your teeth." Ashley turned to Chris.

"Okay!" He smiled sweetly as he continued to eat his breakfast.

Ashley kinda treated Christopher like he was her own. Me and Eddie had been dating for a year now, she'd been waiting for him to propose.

"Done!" Christopher placed down his sliver ware and got up to brush his teeth.

Chris also has CPU so he needs crutches to support his leg. No matter what though, Ashley loved that kid. She then picked up Christopher's dirty dishes and went to the sink to go wash them. She exhaled sharply feeling her body tense up.

She than felt someone's hands touch her shoulders and massage them lightly. "Eddie..." Ashley sighed.

"You look stressed. Relax." Eddie whispered in her ear and he was kind of right. She had been stressed lately not for any particular reason just nerves.
