Nico's POV

      I sit in the cafeteria with a few other people. So many murders have occurred and I still stand. It feels so empty in here. It all started with Xander and more and more have come right after another. It's horrible, but I can't say I'm innocent in this killing game..

It all went down when Ace and I got into a big argument. I ended up snapping at him and threatened to kill him. He didn't believe me, but I did attempt to kill him. Eden and Teruko walked in and I ran away. I'm such a coward. I ran away from what I've had done and I never got the nerve to apologize to Ace. He's still here, no one has killed him and he hasn't tried to kill. It just hurts looking at him every time he walks by. He always backs away or runs away from me. I just feel so horrible for all I've done. I started this mess and I want to end it. I want to apologize to him. I want both of us to make it out of here being on better terms at the very least.

With that thought, Ace walks in and sits at a table all alone far away from me. I nervously stand up and walk over to him.

"Ace um-!"

"Haven't I told you enough?! B-Back off!" He cut me off. Nervous to be around me.

"Look Ace, all I wanted to say is-!"

"W-What?! Are you going to kill me this time?!" He bickered at me. I feel my hands tremble and I close them both into fists.

"J-Just listen to me for one second!" I yelped out. I can feel everyone's eyes dart onto us. I can feel my whole body freeze up. "I-I umm.. I need to tell you something important.. We can't be in here though.." I hide my face.

"I'm not going a-anywhere alone with you! You'll just try to kill me!" He yelled back at me.

"I won't try and kill you! You h-have to listen to me.. Everyone here is listening in on our conversation. Do you really think I'd go out of my way to yell my murder plan? I just need to talk to you, please. If you come with me this one time, I'll never bother you again, I promise.." I told him. He bites his lip a bit.

     "Fine Nico! I'll go with you, dick.. If I go and get killed because of this, I have only m-myself to blame.." He nervously said.

      I nod my head, take his hand and walk him to my room. I open the door for him and pushes me out of the way. I walk in behind him and shut the door.

     "L-Look, I've been meaning to apologize to you for a really long time.. For what I did to you. I don't know what got into me. I just s-snapped and I felt instant regret when I did it. I was too scared before to tell you since I didn't know how you would react. I want to make it out alive and I want you there with me. I-I want to try my best to protect us both!" I admitted to him. He rolls his eyes.

     "As if.. I don't believe a word you're saying.." He muttered out.

     "You should though! I would never lie to y-you.. I want you to trust me. Trust isn't the best thing here in this situation we're in, but we've made it so far together. I think this trust is the best we've got.." I looked down. We stand here in silence for a long time. Suddenly, Ace opens his mouth.
