thank you for even attempting to read this book xoxo

The picture is of Artemis

"Scar you're holding it completely wrong, you're going to end up stabbing yourself." Artemis scolded me, I replied with a frustrated glare of my own. "When I said you can train me, I meant with an actual sword not a pocket knife."

I've been living on the ship for about a week now, and i find it so strange, how close I've become to my crew mates (excluding Vladamir the most we did was exchange a few words here and there), I would even consider them my friends even though i don't fully trust them just yet. Flinch was also right about me being shy and not quiet the more I got to know everyone, the more talkative i was becoming. I still want to return back home when all of this is over, but maybe this won't be as bad as i thought it would.

Artemis claimed that he was getting bored just by watching me read books all day, so he insisted he trained me in sword fighting. In my opinion, he was getting a bit bored of training and couldn't find anything better to do, and i didn't exactly want to finish all the books in the library in two week, so I agreed to his stupid plan.

"Scarlett if you want to learn properly learn from the very beginning."

"When you said learn from the beginning, i was hoping a smaller sword, not something i can't even chop carrots with." Artemis stopped talking and started sucking in his cheeks something I realized that he would do when he was thinking. Suddenly his face lit up with an evil grin, my eyes narrowed in suspicion. "You know what Scar you're right, you should start training with a sword." My eyes immediately lit up with triumph, at least he was coming to terms with my plan now.

Artemis grabbed one of his smaller swords to hand over to me. As soon as he handed the sword to me, I grabbed the handle with both my hands, but as soon as Artemis let go, the weight of the sword came crashing down to the floor taking me with it. I stared with wide eyes at the sword for a couple of seconds, before grinning from ear to ear and looking up at Artemis. "You know what Arty I think I changed my mind, where's that knife of mine."

"Scarleeeeett!" Sebastian ran up and hugged me from behind almost making me loose my balance, (I say hug but it was more of an attack). Sebastian was just like a puppy, always happy and cheerful with the need for affection. It kind of just made you want to protect him, even though 1. He doesn't need protection. And 2. I'm about 85 percent sure he's older than me.

"What's wrong Seb." I ruffled his already messy blonde hair.

"Flinch said that lunch was ready."

------------

I set five plates on the table (Even though Vladamir never joined us) Flinch always insisted. The four of us made ourselves comfortable, i was sat next to Flinch while Artemis was opposite me and Sebastian was opposite Flinch.

"Is there room for one more?" A deep voice asked from behind. Vladamir didn't even bother to see if anyone answered his question before making his way over to the head of the table sitting next to Flinch and Sebastian.
