I woke up before anyone else. I left the hut and headed for the rock. It was beautiful out. The water had so many pretty bioluminescence plants and animals. Once I got in sight of the rock I saw a figure on it. I decided to walk over to see who it was.

It was Neteyam. " Hey what are you doing here? It's kind of early to be here don't you think? " I asked him. He looked back with a smile and said " I should be asking you that " I smiled back at him and punched him slightly on the shoulder before sitting down next to him. " It's pretty out isn't it? " he said. " Yes it is pretty out " I replied back. We sat in silence for a few minutes which felt like hours before he said something. " Have you ever wanted to see the forest? " he asked me. " Well yes I have, I'm not aloud to go outside of the barrier though. I'd give anything to visit even for a day. " I answered. " Mabye one day I could take you out there, I could introduce you to our traditions and friends. " he said looking at the water. " You miss it there dont you? " I questioned him. " Yeah I do, but I'm here now and I met you so it's not all that bad. " he looked at me and gave me a little smirk.

I swear I felt myself turning red. I just smiled back at him and looked back into the water. I know I just met him but he seems like a nice and loving boy. I noticed how light it was getting. " It's getting light out, I have another cool place if you'd like to see it " I told him turning my head from the water then my eyes. He looked at my and nodded while raising his eyebrows. We got up and took a long walk.

We arrived at an edge. It was a amazing view of the village. " Here, you can see everything and everyone. " I told him looking down at the village. I looked over at him to see his expression, he looked amazed once again.

I felt a weird feeling in my stomach as if someone were tickling it from the inside or something were moving around in it. He looked so pretty with the light shining onto him. He was smiling a little. He looked over at me.
" It's very pretty y/n, thank you for showing me these beautiful places. I honestly didn't think I'd get a good friend this fast. " he told me. I looked into his eyes and saw his pupils dilate a little. I wasn't sure if it was because he liked me a little bit or the lighting but either way I felt happy.

I looked over at my hut as I noticed my father walk out. He knew I usually would get up earlier than others so I didn't worry. I then saw Neteyam's mom walk out of the hut looking worried. " Hey Neteyam, I think your mom might be worried looking for you. " I pointed to her. He looked over and giggled a little. " Yeah she probably is, we better get back before some big commotion goes down. " he said still laughing a little. I smiled and nodded my head. " We will see eachother again later today right? For training? " he asked as we both got up. " Yeah! And if your still up to it I can show you a few other amazing places. " I replied. " I'd love that. I loved spending time with you earlier then we planned I'll see you later y/n " he said before giving me a hug and heading back to the village.

As I walked him walk out of sight I felt happy. I felt like he was someone I could trust. I never felt like I could ever trust anyone but my sister. I don't know why but Neteyam seemed like the right one for me. I just met him though and I want to take things slowly, get to know him more. I can still enjoy the moments like that though. I'm just not going to make any big moves this early.

I headed back to my hut and started making jewlery waiting to train Neteyam and his siblings. Mostly Neteyam though.
