summary: Pedro comes over to your place to go over lines for a particular scene and well...you guys go off script.

The sound of keys jingling and the locks on your door being unlocked didn't scare you. You just turned around to see a man with a six-pack case of beer, unhealthy take-out, and that award-winning smile that you could never get tired of seeing. Pedro already had keys to your apartment, and he was never the one to come in empty-handed, despite you telling him many times over that it was fine.

"Pedro, what did I tell you about bringing food over here? I can cook, you know," You playfully chastised him, not really meaning what you said.

He smiled at your "scolding." "We all know what happened the last time you cooked. Almost burned down the building." He chuckled, and you felt a scowl grow on your face.

"That was one time! You're never gonna let me live that down, are you?" He shook his head no and you sighed. You walked over to the kitchen and he followed your lead, and behind your back, he was eying your backside and he was silently hoping that you wouldn't pick up on it. Perhaps the days of playing a DEA agent that was particularly interested in the women that roamed the streets of Medellin was something he couldn't shake.

"I can't believe it's happening." You knew what he was referring to, and you felt the same. This wasn't just one of those nights where you guys would hang out in one's respective apartment and read lines for the next episode of your show. This was the episode that everyone was waiting for, and you weren't sure if your heart was ready for it.

For the longest time, your character and Pedro's character had been playing on the idea of being just friends or something more. The flirting was there, loud and clear. A strong friendship was established, and all of your character's friends said that it was meant to be, but nothing happened between both of your characters. Fast forward to this episode and now you and Pedro were doing your own impromptu table read about this particular scene that was the defining moment between them. Although you were happy about it, seeing as this would make the fans happy, you were unsure if you could continue to just act with Pedro.

They say that romances that originate from on-screen relationships are not ideal, but they should've told that to your heart. Of course you fell for Pedro, despite your better judgment. You spent too much time with him on-screen and off-screen to not fall for him. He became your best friend, as did the two of your characters. You guys did everything together, even if it bordered a line of just friends or something more. You two went to the movies, had dinners together, carpooled to work, hell, you even had sleepovers at each other's apartments when one of you were too tired to go back home. This was all friendly behavior-or so you thought-but your heart had to take it to the next level. But because of all the things you guys did together, you wondered if he felt the same about you.

If he did, he had a terrible way of showing it. The man was hard to read as some of the things that he did pointed to just being friends and then the other things pointed to something more, that maybe this wasn't all in your head for once. Acting in certain scenes left you flustered and in need of a drink as he put his all into his work, something that was good for everyone else but left you wanting to take him back home. It wasn't good that in some scenes he would corner you, leaving almost no space between the two of you which made your breath hitch involuntarily.

He walked up to you, backing you into your kitchen counter. There was a mischievous smirk that crept up onto his plump lips which made you bite your lip, trying to suppress the little moan that was threatening to escape your mouth as he was dangerously close to you. You let your eyes wander down to what he was wearing. A red short sleeve shirt that was too tight for it to be legal to wear and pants that also seemed to be too tight for most men but were just right for him. You looked up and saw that the first two buttons were undone, allowing you to see a hint of his chest that was almost close to yours. A thin layer of sweat lined the golden skin of his from how hot it was. You were feeling hot yourself, your face flushed and your cheeks burning a bright red from the close proximity of him and from the lights on you two.
