Quick recap: two attackers tried to snatch yalls man but thankfully Yuri and Mayu came to ya rescue

"Y/n! We're so glad you both are okay!"
Yuri says while putting her hand out to pull me up and I accept.

"How did you find us?"
I ask in curiosity and amazement.

"Well, since I'm a God Candidate I can control masks, so I just asked a nearby mask to bring us to your guys' location!"

Yuri says with her hands on her hips.

"Goddamn my legs hurt like he- wait- what? You're a God Candidate?"
I question.

"Correct!" She answers my question.

"Nice, now can you help him or does this just have to happen?"

"I'm not entirely sure on how to help him, but I'll try! Let's get home first, though."

"Finally, we're home!" Yuri playfully announces.

I walk into the room which Sniper was in.

I sigh as I approach Sniper who was peacefully sleeping on the floor.

I sit on the floor next to him, feeling his temperature with my hand.

"Can't you help him?"

"I can try to."

I nod my head and I walk out of the room to give her peace and quiet, seeing Mayuko leaning against the wall.

"How is he?"

"Still sleeping. Yuri said she could help him."

Mayu hums in response.
"Hey, Y/n, I've been meaning to ask you, are you and Sniper a thing? If you're not comfortable answering then that's okay too. I'm just curious."

Mayu says while looking at me with genuine curiosity.

Uh... should I tell her? She's a good friend. And it is wrong of me and Sniper to just lie to her given how loyal she is.
"Yeah, we are together."

"...well, congrats...I guess?"
Mayu awkwardly says.

"Hey girls! I'm done! He should be waking up soon."

I bolt back into the room and I rush ro Sniper's side.

He slowly rises from the floor, scratching his hair and I smile.

"What... happened?"

My eyes lit up with happiness, I leapt into his arms, pulling him into a hug. He stays motionless for a minute, but in no time he hugs me back, wrapping his arms around me tightly.

"You went into hibernation. Just like how Mayu did."

Yuri says and his grip tightens while looking at Yuri. Actually, scratch that. He was glaring at Yuri.
As if he was marking his territory or something.

"Heh... I'll give you two some privacy"

Yuri scurrys away, closing the door behind her.

I look at Sniper, his beautiful blue eyes staring back at mine.
