Quick recap: Sniper revealed to you that yall are a God Candidate and now he went into a nice long nap and you're completely lost with no way of getting home

"Wait... where is home?"

Fuck... we were so caught up in exploring that we forgot to remember which way home is.

"Okay, we're stranded in the middle of nowhere and we have no way home and night is approaching."

Atleast I have weapons.

I pull the very much asleep Sniper into my lap and onto my chest.

"So... I guess the place to start is to find a safe place..."

Suddenly, something in Sniper's pocket goes off.

I slide my hand into his pocket, pulling out a phone.

Wait... a phone?!

I nearly scream from excitement and I search the phone for contacts.
There's a calling app, and I see Mayuko, Yuri, and Kuon in contacts.

I hurriedly call Yuri, the ringing tone practically taunting me since this was such a dire situation.

She doesn't answer, so then I call Mayuko.

She answers, and in return, I let out a gasp of relief.

"Mayu! Mayuko, me and Sniper are in a predicament. He's sleeping and his mask said he was in hibernation or something."

"Hibernation? Oh shit- where are you two?"

"I honestly have no clue."

"Okay- the same thing happened to me awhile ago, listen to me carefully, you need to-"

Before Mayu could properly instruct me on what to do, the phone died, which disconnected the call and made the phone go black.

"You-you shitty piece of plastic!"

I yell into the phone as if it could hear me.

I slide the phone back in his pocket as I tighten my grip on Sniper, dragging him into the building.

I close the door behind us, barricading the door with my body.

I sigh with Sniper in my arms, holding him as tight as I can as tonight may be the last night that I can hold him.

Mayuko's POV:

Suddenly the call disconnects and I'm left in worry.

I try to call them back but they won't answer.

I run to Yuri's room to tell her that our friends could be in danger.
I slam her door open which jumpscares her.

"Yuri, Y/n and Sniper got lost and Sniper went into hibernation, we've gotta look for them!"

"Eh?! Wha-"

"Come on now!"

I grab Yuri's hand and I drag her out of base, looking frantically to see where we should start our search.

Y/n's POV:

I decide to go back outside to see if any possible threats or saviors are nearby.
I don't see anyone and I'm about to go back inside but I pause.

I should stay out here so I have more room to move around inside of being cramped in that hallway incase someone does attack us.

I lean on the door, looking up at the night sky's stars, remembering when Sniper took me on a roof to see the stars with me.

I smile, just thinking about him was enough to give me butterflies.
The butterflies almost instantly leave when I see a figure on the high-rise in front of me.

I slide my knife out of my waistband and into a stabbing motion.

"Hey bitch, is you a person or nah?"

I ask and it doesn't answer. It just stands there menacingly, barely being illuminated by the stars.

Suddenly, the thing bolts to the other high-rise to the right, which had a bridge leading to another high-rise, and that high-rise had a bridge leading to me.

The thing ran towards me but I looked it in it's eyes with a terrifyingly blank stare.

"Stop moving."

And with my demands, it stops moving.
"You're the submissive type, huh? I've never understood it. Don't you want control over life?"

I say with a chuckle, it just stares at me with a murderous glare.

"Okay, Miss or Mr. I-cannot-think-for-myself, do a backflip off the high-rise."

The masked person does so, literally backflipping off the high-rise, rolling down until it hits the ground with a thud.

I laugh hysterically at it's eagerness. I look over the high-rise, examining the mask's very much dead as fuck body at the very bottom.

"Oh, I can definitely get used to this..."

I realized that I haven't checked on Sniper in a hot minute.

I open the door to the building, practically jumping down the stairs.

I reach the bottom only to see Sniper gone, and someone dragging him away at the end of the hallway.

"You bitch! Give me my Sniper back!"

I bolt after the kidnapper and they slip behind a corner.

I cut the corner, picking up the pace and catching up to the mysterious figure.

I slip my knife out of my waistband, ramming into the person and tackling them.

I bring them to the floor, sitting on their legs preventing them from getting up.
Before they can do anything else I put my knife to their throat while looking into their eyes.

"Tell me who you are and why you stole Sniper right now or I'll slit your fucking throat."

"You think a kid with a toy scares me? Do it. You'll be giving me what I want anyway."

"Mask's can't talk but you're talking even though you're wearing one, what's that about?"

I ask, pressing the knife into the person's neck harder, just enough to cut them but not draw blood.

"Why would I tell you?"

"Because I can end your life right here right now."

Suddenly, I feel a object being put to the back of my head. When I realize what it is, a gun, my adrenaline kicks in.

"Put it down. Now."

I drop my knife and I put my hands up.
The person from under me crawls away and I glare at them.

Then I'm pushed to the floor with a kick and I feel a hefty boot on my neck.

I look at the attacker and it's another person with a mask that can for some reason talk.

They aim the gun at my head with their finger on the trigger and I prepare for death.

But then someone comes behind the person and they slide a knife into their neck, blood dripping on me and on the floor.

The attacker chokes on their own blood, the gurgling sound gives me goosebumps, and they collapse to the ground.

Someone comes behind the other attacker and they snap their neck, and they fall to the ground.

My eyes are blurry at first, but once they adjust to the faces of my saviors, I smile, looking on at both Mayuko and Yuri.
