yule ball?

We get called to the great hall. Hufflepuffs are sharing a table with gryffindor and ravenclaw with us slythrins. I sit with my girls. Dumbledore says, "Welcome all we are here to talk about the yule ball it is in congratulations to our victors who will be chosen soon. The sixth, seventh, and eight years have put their names in, and we will now see who they are."

Dumbledore turns around and looks at the triwizard cup it spits out a name. "FLUER DELACORE!" Dumbledore yells before another is spat out."VICTOR KRUM!" yelled Dumbledore again. Another "CEDRIC DIGGORY!" Dumbledore yells and says,"These are our vic -" he's interrupted by another getting spat out. He catches it. "Harry Potter..? HARRY POTTER?!" Dumbledore yells, and Harry reluctantly gets up. "Ok so -" Dumbledore gets interrupted again. He catches it. An annoyed look on his face. "MATTHEO RIDDLE!" He screams. I turn to mattheo, and he shrugs and stands.

As they all stand there, Dumbledore says, "Five hogwarts victors a change, but it shall happen." The victors then get taken for interviews.

I sit in the common room, confused, talking to the girls. "It's confusing cause only one of our victors is a sixth year." Says Pansy." Yeah, how did mattheos' name even get in there?" Says Daphany, "let alone Harry Potters." I say. Turning to them. "Yeah.." Pansy says."Hmm.." Says Blare I turn to look at her.

Mattheo walks in. I get up and drag him upstairs and ask, "How'd you do it?" "I didn't." He says,"Oh yh, sure." I say about to walk away when a strong arm pushes against me. I look at him, and he says, "Believe me, I didn't do it." I nod he steps away. I walk up to my room as he walks downstairs. 

Ok, so yule ball, this should be fun. I wonder who everyone's gonna go with. You sit studying for a while, then start to head to the library to study more. As o.w.l.s are coming up. It hasn't been announced, but some sixth years told you how it's at the beginning of the year.

As I reach the libary, I see Cedric. I turn and walk as fast as I can along the shelves to pretend I'm busy. But I once again hear, "Hey, yn!" From his voice, it's hard not to recognise it with the amount of times he's said my name. I turn with a confused look and say, "Yes?"

"So you've got your O.w.l.s coming up, right?" He says with a smile. "Uh yeah, I do. I'm actually here to study for it.." you say with an awkward smile at the end. "Well, I was a fifth year once i can help you." He said as his face was going red. "Uh.. I've actually got a study partner.." I say knowing I really don't.

"Oh? Who? If you don't mind me asking?" He says with a fading smile. "Me." A voice says you recognised it as.. mattheo. You turn and say, "Yep!" You then smile awkwardly. "See you around then yn." Cedric says in a soft tone. "And you too, riddle." His tone changing to be more firm. "Yeah." Mattheo snaking his hand around your waist Cedric jaw clenchs as he walks away.

I turn to mattheo "oh thank merlin, I thought I was gonna have to say yes to studying with him." I say. "You're too nice sometimes you know that?" Mattheo says, smiling. "But I don't wanna fuck up daphanys relationship!" I say in a sulky tone. "You don't know?" Mattheo says, confused tilting his head.

"Know what..?" I say, obviously confused. "Daphany found that Kyle guy cheating." Mattheo said. I instantly drop my books and storm down the corridors.

Then I see him. I pull my wand out and point it at his neck, pushing him against a wall. "You hurt her." I say, staring him dead in the eye. "I WARNED YOU WHAT I'D DO IF YOU FUCKING HURT HER!" I scream. I whisper a spell and step back his friends around him, staring at me.

As he screamed, I stood there watching 'cheater' and started to get inggraved into his body, on his arms and legs, I was the only one who could undo it. They would scar he would learn his lesson. I smile as he faints with the words done as I walk away.

It's the next morning, and I walk out of the common room happy as ever and into the great hall. I found out draco asked Astoria to the yule ball, and she said yes. Blaise and Melanie are going together. Nia and Theodore are going together. Tiarna and Pansy are going as friends. Blares going with a fourth year hufflepuff. As only fourth years and up can go without a date, I don't have a date yet. However , daphany doesn't, but I know Tom wants to ask her, and I'm helping him. I then run into someone interrupting my thoughts it's Cedric.

I didn't realize it, but I was wondering if I was almost at the great hall for breakfast. "Sorry," I say, walking into the great hall without another word. I walk to my table and sit starting to eat. Tom sits with me, and we start to discuss what to do as I know her best. And we decide.

Our whole group organised how tom would ask daphany to the ball we all hid as Tom stood waiting for her with some flowers he wanted to be extra as it wasn't just him asking her to the yule ball but her was making ut a date to ask her to be his girlfriend only I knew that tho.

So she walked in a little dressed up as I said. She looked stunning they sat and had a great dinner thanks to the house elves.

Halfway through, he brings up the topic of dating and how he feels as if he's ready and wants to ask someone but doesn't know if their ready and daphany being daphany decides to say "just ask you never know until you ask." Smiling softly.

"Yeah.... so Uh Daphnay?" Tom says daphany looks up at him. "Yh?" She says. "Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" Tom says, holding eye contact with her. Shocked, she sits quietly for a few seconds. "I would.. love to.." she says, smiling.  Tom sighs in relief, then saying "Well, I assume you'd go to the yule ball with me too?"

"Of course I would." She replies. "You guys can come out now.." Tom says daphany confused as us girls run at her excitedly. " Then Pansy says, "Now we gotta find yn a date."
"No. You really don't. I'm - I'm good." You say as you didn't wanna go with anyone.. well, you did just only with him..

"Yes, we can find you a date. How about Cedric he's really interested in you." Daphany says nudging you. "No, I'm not going." You say sternly walking up the stairs. "Pansy.. Daphany..you dont know, do you..?" Melanie says, they look around confused as Melanie walks upstairs to comfort you.

Time passes, you wake up realideing,  you'd fallen asleep. You sit up and walk downstairs being stopped halfway. "You me yule ball." Mattheo says as you turn to look at him."What?" You say a little confused. "I said do you want to go to the yule ball with me?" He repeated himself with a nicer set of vocabulary. "Sure.." You said confused he smiled, pinning you back against a wall he lifted your chin. And saying, "Good now, princess. Our outfits have been chosen by your mother. They'll be here in the mail soon."

You nodded, and he leaned in closer, saying, "Maybe we don't have to fake it."
You snap out of it, saying, "mhm sure you know maybe I'll just make you struggle a bit and we're going as friends." "Sure thing, princess." He says, walking down the stairs, you not too long after him. You start to talk to the girls before walking to the great hall.

I sit in the great hall for Dumbledore to announce, "For the rest of the week, we will have no classes you can get ready for the yule than the tournaments. Good luck to our champions, and everyone in just finding a date in general."

People start to leave, but you and your group sit there knowing all your parents or caregivers got you all  something.
