Author's Note:
I am so sorry for not posting on this story for like 2 weeks now, but grades are going in soon and testing and everything so I'm going to try and focus on that. Although writing here is kinda of a break from homework and a way to remind myself that I am actually a fanfiction writer and that I have real life people actually reading this. It gives me a sense of accomplishment that even finishing a 3 hour homework assignment won't give me. Thanks again!_____________________________
It was currently 3 am and Kim Dokja could not sleep.
Everytime he thought he was close to falling asleep, he would close his eyes and images of his previous or other life would flash by.
One of the main images that would always show would be Joonghyuk. Either it be the times they clashed swords, or the time Joonghyuk was running over to him while he was dying after getting in the way of the blast.
It was always him.
Sure it could be that they were life and death companions that Dokja saw him so much.
He was one of the most important people in Dokja's life. But that still didn't change the fact that he stuck out like a completely cut off arm.
Turning and tossing for what felt like for forever was exhausting. Yet trying to sleep was still futile.
"Fuck it"
Dokja had said, pushing the blankets off himself and walking over to his desk that still had the book that started this entire situation.
"If I can't fall alseep, I mine as well do something productive."
How Dokja wished that was the case.
Turning on his lamp light, he began to open the book. The first word that he say, rather the first name he saw was Yoo Joonghyuk. The second he read the name, an image of Joonghyuk carrying Dokja in his arm came into his view of imaginaton.
Slightly frustrated by the sudden image of his life and death companion, and slightly flustered, he turned to another random page. This page only had one paragraph. Yet the first word, which was the last word of that chapter was, of course, Yoo Joonghyuk.
This time, the image was of Joonghyuk looking straight into Dokja's eyes as Dokja and Joonghyuk's faces were both inches away. The look in Joonghyuk's dark eyes was not the same intense glare that was usally given to Dokja, but a loving stare that Dokja could stare back at for the rest of his life-
"Why is his name everywhere and these stupid images!?!"
Dokja whisper yelled, interupting the previous thoughts he had as his face began to become red as a tomato even in the dark and cold room. Trying his best to keep his anger at bay, he started to calm down. All he wanted to get was information, not to become a complete flustered mess.
Slamming the book shut, Dokja turned off his lamp and went to his desk drawer, where he then took out a jar of sleeping pills. Opening the pill jar, he took one out and put the jar back in its place as he went to get some water.
"I haven't taken these in forever"
Dokja sighed outward as he took the pill with the water.
After taking the pill, he walked back towards his small bed and pulled the covers over himself. To avoid any images of a certain someone, he kept his eyes open until he felt his eyes subconsiously close on their own, finally giving his the peace he needed to prepare himself for the morning.
Author's Note
Suprisingly this only took like 35 minutes which is great, but I will try to write more today. I just thought this was a great place to stop the chapter so imma start writing the next chapter sooner or later. Either way, Arigato, and bai bai!!
