✬ The two got closer as the months pass, Stan starts to develop feelings for the king, Kyle. But he's still finding the right time to express his feelings towards Kyle.

Third Person POV;

It's currently 5am in the morning as the sun rises, Stan awakes in his room and continues to walk over to his King's room to check if Kyle is awake yet, Stanley takes a peek from the door to find Kyle still sleeping peacefully on his bed.
Stan enters the room quietly, walking over and sitting down next to Kyle, admiring him for a while before snapping back to his senses and his face turns red, rushing out to the door and getting out of theres as fast as he can before Kyle can wake up.

A few hours pass, its now 1pm in the afternoon. Kyle is outside the sanctuary eating an apple while reading beside a tree. While Stan was out wandering outside the sanctuary he finds Kyle under the tree and walks towards him with a smile, "My king! What're you doing here?" Stanley crouches down to reach Kyle's level, (Kyle's sitting down) "Oh Stan, nothing much just reading a book I found in my library! There's nothing much to do these days,," Kyle pouts while closing the book and finishing eating his apple, Stan just stays quiet for a while, thinking on fun things to do and then remembers a place filled of sand he once found while out on an expedition once. "Oh,,! What if we go out again? I found a beach just outside the forest while I was on an expedition for Wendy's request for materials for forging enhanced weapons!"
"Hm? Wendy? She really never stops worrying about defences and weapons and all that kinds of stuff.. But speaking about this beach, I'd like to go..!" Kyle smiles and stands up as Stan follows suit.
After a few hours of walking and a never ending conversation about the units in the Sanctuary, the two finally reach the Beach Stan was talking about. "Look my king! Isn't it beautiful? Theres alot of rocks here including colored ones,, We could have tons of fun here!" Stan laughs happily while running over to the shore while the waves almost hit Stan, Kyle laughs loudly and proceeds to run over to Stan.
The two kept themselves entertained through the whole afternoon by doing all kinds of things at the beach, like laughing together, sand castles, splashing each other with the water and having long conversations about random things that happened in the sanctuary and all the memories they made together.

"Say, Stan, this actually is pretty fun. The sand leaves our footprints behind so what if we write something or draw something on the sand? Kyle offers to Stan with a smile,
"Drawing competition then?" Stan and Kyle laughs and grabs sticks and rocks from the ground to draw random things on the sound while they keep themselves entertained for a long while. Stan ended up drawing a horse, a horse which looks like its drawn by a kid in kindergarten while Kyle on the other hand, drew himself, a full on side profile of himself which he did under 3 minutes. The two looks at each others works on the sand and laughs, Kyle laughs at the donkey drewn on the sand while Stan laughs with Kyle but also staring at Kyle's drawing in awe. "I didn't know you draw so well my king!" Stan compliments Kyle where Kyle stays silent and smiles, his cheeks visibly having a tint of red but just laughs it off.
"Hey Stan, its getting abit late dont you think? Are we gonna head back to the sanctuary now?" Kyle says while sitting on a log beside Stan, Stan on the other hand just nods as a response before getting an idea before they both leave. "What if we write our names in the sand first? Maybe if we go back here again we can see our names here!"
"But what if it rains and our names on the sand washes off?" Kyle replies leaving Stan into more thought,
"What about on this exact log? We could write our names on it!" Stan says with a smile while Kyle agrees, the two both get rocks and kneel down to the log they sat on, the two both wrote their names and combined their names and wrote it on the log.

They wrote that on each sides of the log and ontop of the log they both wrote "Style".

The two get up and leave the beach, entering the forest and back to the Sanctuary.
" Thanks for curing my boredom once again Stanley, things truly get better when im with you." Kyle smiles while Stan felt his cheeks heat up and grow red, "Its my pleasure your majesty..!" Stan replies while smiling softly, but the happiness between the two was soon interrupted by Clyde screaming.

"Elven king! My king!! T-terrible news..!!" Clyde halts to his stop in front of Kyle and Stan as he tries to catch his breath, he takes his arm out which has a letter on his hand, Kyle takes the letter and reads it.
His eyes widen and his face contorts with disgust and fear.. "Again? From her..?" Kyle crumples the letter and drops it down the ground. "If they want it, they'll have it." Kyle walks away angrily leaving Stan and Clyde alone.
"Clyde! Clyde, please, t-tell me what happened!" Stan asks worriedly while looking at Clyde.
"I-its better you dont know Stan.. ite for the be-" Clyde gets interrupted by Stan who grabbed Clydes shoulders tightly, trying to force him to speak about the letter. "Clyde. Why is the king so mad?! Tell me!" Stan gets irritated as he shakes Clyde to get an answer from him, "Alright!! Fine fine let me go!!" Clyde shouts at Stan, Stan has no choice but to let go to know what's going on.

Clyde sighs before opening his mouth to speak, "Stanley,, I-its the opposing kingdom, they weren't satisfied from the fight a few months ago and came back with stronger troops, weapons, defenses and more. They want war Stan! The king is much more upset since there's a new ruler that's assisting Cartman for the war.. The priestess, Leslie Meyers."
