I was just about to leave work when my boss came in. "Hey, Tony. I need you to cover a shift."
"I have plans tonight." I lied.
"Can you cancel? I really need someone to cover this shift."
"I guess. Am I getting paid for it?"
"No." She said.
"Then I can't. I'm not gonna work and not get paid for it." I sassed.
"Tony please."
"Pay me and I will."
"Fine. I gotta go." She left and I smiled.
I sat behind the bar and poured a coke. No one came in. Except this old guy who eats here every Tuesday night. Him and his wife used to come here all the time before she passed. I was here. He was so full of life. Now that she's gone, he's just rotting in his house. I texted Mike a little.
Anyways, enough about boring work. I'm home now, by the way. My brother was playing Halo: Master Chief Collection. He was sitting in the centre of our living room for no fucking reason.
"Bro, the screen is blurry."
"Then you need glasses." I stated the obvious.
"Ew. No."
"Then be blind. I don't care." I shrugged and went upstairs. I opened my door and went inside. I went to my bed and turned the lamp on. I changed into pajamas and laid in bed.
I put headphones in and let the music take me away.

Sunday. Finally. I get to lay in bed all day. I don't have to deal with my bitchy boss or any of my annoying co-workers. Mike texted me around noon.
'Mike: We don't know eachother that well 21?'s'
'Tony: Sure you first'
'Mike: Favourite animal?'
'Tony: Turtle.You?'
'Mike: Giraffe. Favourite colour?'
'Tony: Black and green. You?'
'Mike: Blue.'
'Tony: What's one weird fact about yourself?'
'Mike: My brother calls me a giraffe because I'm about six inches taller than him. He's older than me. What about you?'
'Tony: I'm eighteen and I'm still a virgin.'
'Mike: It's nothing to be ashamed of. I only have sex when I'm drunk or high.'
'Tony: Wait, what's your last name? Mines Perry.'
'Mike: Fuentes.'
I put my phone down. Shit. Fuck my life. I dated his brother. He's still hot as fuck. Mike not Vic.
'Mike: Wanna go to a club tonight?'
'Tony: That's not my scene really.' I replied.
'Mike: I know. I'll be with you though. If you get uncomfortable then we can leave.'
'Tony: I guess.'
'Mike: Cool. I'll pick you up around ten.'
'Tony: See you then.'
I put my phone down and started watching a movie.

I walked downstairs and my mum stopped me. "Where are you going all dressed up?"
