Chapter 22

SULLI

"Wake up," I got startled by the voice when I realized that it was Mackenzie. Her bruises on the face, her wounds, her cuts. I raised my hand to caress her face but it didn't reach because of the chains.

"Macky," She posed a quiet sign so I bit my lip, she pointed the window and I almost got scared when I saw Seulgi's horrified face while signalling me to break my chain and I did. To my surprise it was easy to break, even if I got curious why Seulgi is outside and where the hell Kittiene is, I immediately broke Mackenzie's chain.

"I can't move because of the tranquilizer," I grimaced but I carried her, "I can't believe you didn't recognize me," Mackenzie scolded me despite her condition.

"Can you blame me? We were tired, it was dark. And the scenery, of course it's common sense to think that the one's being tied up on the guarded room would be you."

"Whatever," I heard her scoff. "Kittienne is on the other room, she was the first to wake up, she pissed Shiro off and I swear I will kill Shiro if she tries to lay a hand on Kittiene." Mackenzie sounded dangerous. I got worried for Kittienne, Shiro has a thing for foreigners and Kittienne looks like one.

"Crap," I hissed when we peeked at the room, Kuro and Shiro is playing with Kittienne's face and the latter seems to enjoy?

"That moron," I got scared when Mackenzie even beat the effects of the tranquilizer and walked inside the room, she swiftly took the katana of Shiro and pointed it at her neck. "All that worry and I am seeing you enjoying the company of these two?" Shiro smirked.

"Can't blame her, I am far more beautiful than you." That pissed Mackenzie off, I sighed and sat down, I swear they will just kill each other til they both exhaust themselves.

"After I slice your neck off, I swear to God I will  slice that next." Mackenzie glared at Kittienne who tried to hide her clothed crotch.

When Shiro was about to make a move, Seulgi came out of nowhere and striked tranquilizers at Shiro but Kuro just depleted the tranquilizer but she raised her hand.

"I don't want to experience that kind of numbness anymore, I concede defeat unnie." Mackenzie glared at her but she broke the chains of Kittienne and the latter shrieked.

"You could've been less harsher not to scare me!" The kitten almost turned pale because Mackenzie almost cut her hands off.

"But you're not scared hitting on these highschoolers?!" My sister shouted and before everything escalate into war, I pulled all of then out and signaled Kuro to take care of her paralyzed sister. But before we get out completely, Kuro said something that didn't surprise us but Kittienne gasped.

"Hanzo is going to die soon"

"Don't worry , I will send flowers." Mackenzie coldly said.

We went out while Kittienne's only half-dressed, she's only wearing her brassierre and her boxers, I gulped when I see her thing.

She looked at me and blushed while trying to hide it however I looked away when I heard Mackenzie gripping the katana.

"Can you get dressed?" Mackenzie frustratingly asked Kittienne who looks chill while Seulgi's drooling over Kitty's abs.

"What's wrong? They ripped off my clothes." We went back to the car and I started the engine while Kittienne's trying to cure Mackenzie's bruises but the latter's still in a bad mood.

"I didn't expect that the last battle would be this easy," Seulgi meaningfully said.

"Hanzo's tired of his old games, I guess." Seulgi just nodded, that's how I see it and that's how the twins implied earlier with the battle. If Shiro wanted to defeat us, mere tranquilizers won't be an issue but my cousin isn't as intelligent as her sister and didn't blocked it. I hope the bitch is okay.

"What will happen after this?"

"Appointing of new clan leaders, of course." Mackenzie said while she's resting with closed eyes. Kittienne's now wooing her, kissing her cheeks and caressing her face while whispering something.

I looked away, I might just drive over the ocean and let us all drown. Seulgi's frowning now and whispering stupid things.

"Irene's going home right?" Seulgi stopped with what she's doing and Mackenzie just let out a small 'yes'.

"With Krystal," she added which made me lose grip on the steering wheel, Mackenzie kicked my seat. "Damn woman, don't get us killed after all the sufferings I endured!"

"Yeah whatever, wish I left you hanging there." Mackenzie almost strangled me, good thing Seulgi defended me and Kittienne pulled her. This woman.

Kidding aside, I focused on the road but my mind is floating. Honestly, we love our grandfather however we despise his tradition. The Sons have been our sworn partners and the lack of education resulted to that horrible past and now that it's been explained, it's most likely to renew vows but Hanzo was blinded by his morals and if he continues, I'll gladly kill him. We are assasins, we are trained not to feel, not to long, and not to emphatize.

"Hanzo is going to die soon.."

"Grandpa.." I held the tears that I am containing, but now that the battle is finally over, maybe it's fine now to cry a little..

I know I killed many of our kins who killed other innocent people and it's like I don't have the rights to feel this way.

But my grandpa.. he is the one who raised me while our parents were away. I know he was disappointed when I decided to leave his teachings but I don't want him to die like this. If I killed him, I might be fine either way.

"Let's visit Hanzo with our parents, unnie." Mackenzie whispered that warmed my heart. I can see Seulgi on my peripheral vision, she's eyeing me from time to time, maybe because it's the first time that I look vulnerable.

I just wiped my tears and nodded. "Alright." We will end this farce now.
