She had gotten ready and we waiting until 11:30 hits in the living room a lil buzzed bc we only drank a lil bc we still needa head ova to my homegirl house.
We was sitting in a comfortable silence when I was thinking about how I ain't Neva heard no slang come out ha mouth

"I gotta question ma"
"I probably got an answer"

"Why u talk so proper? Like ian Neva heard u use actual slang. Not even in text"
"That's just how I was raised to talk" I shrug
"You was raised a good kid den?" I kinda laughed

I checked the time and its time to go. Time sho do go by fast if u enjoyin yoself

"It's time u ready?"

I parked in the driveway bc Ian leavin till tmr so ion care if sb parks behind me. I go around to Kai's side and opened her door

"Thank you" she said as she stepped out
"You welcome, cmon" I shut the door

We walk up to the front door and opened it

After she says that a pretty dark skin girl comes out

"Shylah this is Rokhyah. Rokhyah this is shylah"
"Hi! Your house is so damn nice"

"Shy get on wit yo gay ass" she laughed

"Good bc I was finna say if u not that would be a surprise bc any female mean hangs around is gay no matter how straight she look" she laughed as she walked away from us "I'm still kinda setting up so y'all can get comfortable"

She walked to the couch and I followed behind her

"You want sum drink?"

Her house is kinda big but nice, I could not live here alone. I hear shy and mean having a conversation but I can't really hear what they're saying but all I know is I heard my name a couple times n I don't know if I like that.

As I'm on my phone scrolling the door opens revealing this stud and a boy who I'm pretty sure is gay

"Shy shyyy" the boy yelled
"Dae daeee" she ran out the kitchen to give him a hug "ughh I missed you so much" she looked at the stud "who's ur friend?"

"Sup, I'm ray"

I'm not going to lie to yall, she is FINE but to mind the business that pays me I went back on my phone and then I heard the girl say 'who's that' and shy answered her and not even 10 seconds later she's on her way to talk to me

"Hey" I smiled

"I'm Rokhyah, Kai for short" I shook her hand
"How was yo day?"

"It was pretty decent, hoping it'll get better. How was yours?"

I got up and walked to where mean was. In the kitchen talking to the boy from earlier n shy
