After waking up in doing my morning routine and remembering THAT BIG fail that happened yesterday.
Centauri was telling everybody about it at breakfast, after we were done we all got on the road to ATL!.
I always wanted to go to Atlanta. I heard a lot about it and it sounds fun. Centauri has been to ATL before and he said he would take me once I come back out here, and here we are.
We were a few hours in, I was trying to stay up but I still feel a sleep.
"Naja wake up" Centauri said
"Mmm bro leave me alone and let me sleep..." I said
"Stop calling bro, you want something out of the sto?" He said
I stretched my arms and legs and took a deep breath before I answered him.
"Can you help me out the car so I can get my snacks, please" I said
He helped me out and we walked in store. I quickly go to the chips section, then the candy. When I got to the drinks I couldn't pick one because they all sounded good. Before I could get a drink, my phone starts to ring.
"Hello, who dis?" I said
"Umm hi is this Naja'ire?" Said the person
"Who is this?" I said
"Um this is Layla" I said
"Well this isn't Naja'ire sorry you have the wrong number, have a nice day" I said
"Girl I know this is you and I'm already having a nice day girl" she said
"Ok so if you knew why would you ask, and who are you?" I said
"It's the light skinned girl from the other day" she said
"Ooo so yo name Layla.... ok, what you want" I say grabbing my drink
"Ok so I need to to do something for me" she said
"And that is?" I say going to the corner
"Ok so I know that Centauri is with you and I know that y'all are also friends, so can you let me talk to him?" She said
"Ok look Layla, Centauri don't want to fwy so just stop, and no you can't talk to him, in lose my number" I said hanging up on her
When I was done with that phone call, Centauri come to the corner with his snacks in looked at me.
"Why you looking at me like that?, I got something on my face?" I said
"Damn, I can't look at my bestie and no you don't have nothing on yo face" he said
"Ok but I got something to tell you.." I said
"Ok what is ma?" He said
"Ok so basically Layla your ex called my phone and asked me to do her favor" I said
"Huh what was the favor and how she get yo number" he said
"I honestly don't know how she got my number but the favor was just to give you the phone so she can talk to you" I said
"That's crazy even if you did give me the phone and I heard her voice I would have hung up in her face" He said
"But she mad weird for that, but the real question is how did she get my number" I said
"Shit, I wanna know to tbh" he said
He paid for our stuff and got gas, then we got back on the road. All of a sudden, Cen put his hand on my tight and that made me kind of nervous.
