[Song- I Write Sins Not Tragedies- Panic! At The Disco.]
**Owen's P.O.V**
I turned in my bed. My hair in my face. Even after five years, I still hadn't gotten rid of my childish bangs. eighteen years old, and you thought I would have outgrown it by now. It was early dawn, and the morning light was just starting to come out. My bare skin looked very pale, which isn't unusual for a vampire, but it would be nice to have a little color. Stepping out of bed, I go to the curtains, and slid them open. The cold early sunlight touching my face. Myth says that vampire can't go in direct sunlight, but that theory is obviously false. A slip by my door caught my attention. I picked up the small envelope, and broke open the stamped seal. It was a note to attend a meeting to welcome some guest to the castle. In mean of guest, my so called fiance, is coming to visit. I sighed. To have someone pick who you marry is not how love should work. How are you suppose to marry someone you don't even love? I was told that you could learn to love each other over time, but that should be before marriage. I thew on my best dress clothes, and made sure my hair fit the part. Opening my door I stepped into the hall. I walked down with the almost never ending ash colored walls until I met the stairs. I saw my aunt at the bottom of the stairs talking to the maids.
"Make sure everything is nice and clean. These are important guest. Now go." Turning her attention away from the maids that had walked away, My aunt turned her attention towards me. He eyes looked warm staring at me. "Oh Owen." She said.
"Hi aunt Claire." I said. We joined together in a hug. Aunt Claire placed her hands on my shoulders.
"So handsome." She said warmly, "How did you grow up so fast?" I shrugged my shoulders to her question.
"The years flew by I guess." Aunt Claire smiled.
"They certainly did." Then my aunt'a cheerful smile dropped. "If only your parents were here to see you." My heart sank. My parents. My parents had died on a trip when I was fifteen. Ever since then I had been raised by my aunt. I missed my mother's warm smile so much. "You look just like your mother." I heard my aunt say. I fought back the tears.
"I wish she was here too." I said. My aunt stroked my hair. Her hand soft and warming.
"Come, we have to wait outside for the guest." Aunt Claire grabbed my hand and led me to the front stairs of the castle. The sun was beating, and the sky was a bright blue. It felt like we had been standing here for centuries, but it is polite to greet guest when the first arrive. Especially when one of the guest is your fiancé, and will become your queen. Oh yeah. I had forgot to mention that I was the king's heir. I'm not born into royal blood. The king never had any sons. He only had five daughters. It said that a king with no son would pick a new candidate for the crown. Who would know that that candidate would be me. I guess I didn't have much of a choice.
A black limo pulled into the driveway and in front of the front stairs. A butler with long black hair stepped out and walked to the end where the door was, and opened it. A man, early twenties maybe, stepped out of the car. He had pushed back dark brown hair with cold blue eyes. Next, was a woman. Her light brown hair had strands of gray symbolizing that she was old in age. Last, was a young woman, around my age, stepped out of the limo. She had long slightly curly reddish brown hair, and gorgeous blue green eyes. No. She was gorgeous all together! She must have caught me staring, because she looked at me and gave my a cute smile. Holy fuck! She was cute! At least I managed to say that in my head instead of my mouth. The old woman stepped forward as my aunt Claire stepped down to meet her.
"Welcome." She began,"We are pleased for you to come visit us today." Aunt Claire said with a warm smile on her face. The old woman bowed her head to my aunts greeting.
"We are honored for you to have us today." She said. My aunt smiled pleasingly. Her hand reached out for me signaling for me to come to her and introduce myself. I walked down the stairs in a cool stride. Taking my aunts hand I smile at the woman.
