Chapter 3: First kiss

[Sora's POV]
Me and Jaxx were watching the anime, we were on Jaxx's bed. I was sitting cross-legged on his bed, and Jaxx was laying his back against his pillow on the bed frame. I had a pillow over my crossed legs and had my arms on it for comfort.

My back was kind of bendy due to me not having anything to lean on, but it didn't matter.

"Sora, sit straight or come lean against the wall with me" I was taken back by Jaxx talking, and looked over at him. I gave him a slight smile and nod.

I scoop my way over to his bed frame, and sat beside him, continuing to watch the series. I couldn't really concentrate because of Jaxx.

I could feel his shoulder touching mine and i could hear and feel his breathing. I didn't know what was happening to me, I don't like him, I hate him. He's my enemy. But why am I so focused on him? I snap back to reality when I hear someone call my name.

"Are you okay?" Jaxx asked Sora looking at him. I quickly look at him in surprise, I blinked a few times before realizing what just happened.

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"You sure? You just spaced out and looked kind of.. conflicted?" His response surprised, was he looking at me while I was spaced out?

"Yeah, I'm fine. just had stuff on my mind" I said trying to focus back on series, and not really focusing on Jax's reaction.

"What kind of stuff?" He was really intrigued by knowing what I was thinking about. He'd probably wanna make a tease about it to satisfy himself. Not like I was gonna tell him how I felt, that was only gonna be between me and myself.

"It doesn't really matter" I smiled softly and slightly at him. But he was giving me that look that just screamed: It matters to me. Like in movies or series.

"I guess we've just felt kind of distant I guess. Like, you seem more distant and different. So I was just curious about what you're thinking I guess.." I blurted it out without thinking, like I always do. When I looked to my side, I saw Jaxx looking at me with big widen eyes, and in a way.. concerned?
